Eagles Ravens Commanders Bills Rams (It’s always **** LA) Chiefs (It’s always **** KC, **** Kermit, **** Kelce, **** the refs, **** Swift, **** Nick Wright)
At this point, any team that can put away the Chiefs. Tired of them getting preferential treatment. Yes the Texans had their chances, but those BS penalties were on third down where the defense did their job and directly led to KC scoring. Screw them and the refs for all those BS calls. For any of the remaining teams playing KC: you're going to get a roughing the passer penalty regardless - make it count and go full tilt. period.
I also had beef with going for it on 4th and 10 with 10 minutes left to play. It was a one score game. There was time. The Chiefs had free rushers on 2nd and 3rd down and ended up with more on 4th down. The odds of converting weren't high and it wasn't a do or die situation. The defense got a 3 and out after the turnover on downs. But the Chiefs pinned us back at the 7 and we got our first 3 and out of the game. A bad punt into the wind it didn't take much for the Chiefs to get into FG range and make it a 2 score game. Hindsight is 20/20, but the correct decision would've been to punt and let the defense keep you in the game. Giving up field position put the game out of reach.
They should have called the TO on the 4th down but rushed it. The ended the game with timeouts remaining.
The rules for KC*, CJ didn't get any of those calls and never would (same for most players). He's also full of ****, just doing damage control because of how bad it looks.
Next time he slides on someone everyone should dramatically give him some space, wave some air toward him, and one person help him up while brushing the dust off. Then one by one tap their heart and apologize.
Elliott can make these FG’s in wild snow right now for the Eagles but Fairbairn couldn’t do it in clear weather lol.
I keep thinking about all the missed opportunities, which could have changed the outcome yesterday, regardless of the terrible officiating. I mean it all started on kickoff, with a 63 yard return. Then to make it worse you have an undisciplined hothead add another 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct. Sure, we held them to a field goal but we still allowed easy points on the board. Slowik's play calling could have been better. There was that risky 55 yard field goal in that stadium, when we should have just punted the ball. We gave them great field position. Ugh. Then, how about when we ran the damn ball on 3rd and 23. I mean, what the hell? We rarely get 23 yards running on any play, but Slowik thinks that with our playoff hopes on the line it's a good time to try it? Most of our missed opportunities came to our offensive line not doing their job in protecting CJ. He was sacked twice as we kept going backwards when down by the red zone. That's ridiculous. Then, to top it off the field goal was blocked. He was sacked two other times on 3rd down and another time on 4th down. That's ridiculous. All those blown opportunities we might have scored. They also had two fumbles we missed out on recovering. Honestly, it's just so frustrating. I'm frustrated at the injury riddled team 2 years in a row. We need better depth at WR, and I really want a draft pick who is better than our young talent, and can come in right away and be a starter, and another for depth, who can compete for that #3 or #4 spot. We obviously need a new OL coach, and I hope we find a better candidate to replace Slowik honestly. As for the draft, we desperately need a starter to replace our weakest link on that line. Honestly, I wish we could afford a veteran free agent center like Drew Dalman. Wow, he would be a huge difference in rush blocking, and is a huge step up from our centers. This year was such a huge disappointment after all the hype after free agency. The injury plague, suspensions, the play calling, and the offensive line at times were just so hard to stomach. Regardless, I love my Texans football more than any other sport. I look forward to seeing what happens with any coaching changes, free agency, watching the combine, and the draft. Preseason can't start soon enough for me. Hopefully the 3rd time's a charm making it further in the playoffs with DeMeco, Stroud, Anderson and the rest. I never lose hope that our next year is the year we finally win that Superbowl.
Yea but the NFL wins anyways, people (Chiefs haters) are gonna tune with the hopes of someone beating 'em. Its almost like WWE creating a villain
I dgaf about the kicker, Fairbairn has been one of the best kicker this season. The fact is to win...you need damn TDs.
