J'Wan Roberts has become such a reliable option on offense. He has a Luis Scola-ish low post moveset.
Well it's about time we won a close one. Liked the way the announcers kept saying that the refs were letting them play. Maybe they were letting UCF play but they weren't doing us any favors. This was a trap game if we were ever going to have one this year. Thank God we escaped the trap. Those 5 on 8 games are hard to win. With very little production from our guards what outstanding games by Francis and Roberts. We won that game in part because of free throws including 6 for 6 from Francis. That and shutting down their 40 point guy. Unbelievable game and great finish.
UCF just forget Roberts was left-handed. He drove right. but laid it in left against the double team. So smooth!
Everytime he said "they are letting them play" a Coog was being bumped, slapped, or shoved. He never said it once when its was reverse. They weren't the worst zebras, I'd say about average. But a few impactful calls and now calls were against the Coogs. I only remember 1 going our way that was questionable and 1 that's was wrong. It doesn't matter CKS got the win nobody ended their season in injury. Javier looked like he took another step in this game. Roberts is playing in control about 90% of the time and teams can't stop him, he is a man among boys. There won't be another night LJ and Sharp are both that off.
