We looked terrible the 1st half so I didn't expect us to win, we need to move on quickly from this scheduled loss.

The ref robbed us of the win with that terrible inbound call which should've been a steal by Brooks, you almost never see those called.

But whatever, remember we had the benefit of the ref as well for that Warriors NBA Cup game.

What we really saw tonight was how bad our offense looked once again without Fred, Stone need to address our need of PG badly in the off-season. If the bridges aren't completely burned, I'd even take CP3 back for like a Westbrook type deal ($3mil/year).

 

Bruce Brown or Malcolm Brogdon would

Bruce Brown or Malcolm Brogdon would be pretty decent back ups.

 

Too many dumb unforced turnovers were their undoing. Brooks and Anen had 2 each in the 4th. Also, Malik monk always seems to turn in Steph curry against us. I like the players resilience and did not give up.

 

Cheated twice by the refs in the closing minutes. Right or wrong, Dillon’s rep gets him called for stuff that might not be called on other players.
That being said, the guys fought hard and almost pulled it out. Jalen’s pull-up 3 that splashed gave me T-Mac ‘13 in 33’ flashbacks. Great to see him playing so well. If we ever learn how to shoot with consistency, or get a knock-down shooter on the roster, we’ll wreck this league.

 

eh, B2b against a good team. Played hard. Some dumb ish we can clean up. ALPHIE needs to do better on defense. We need to go to him earlier and run the offense thru him.

 

Should have just said “Refs are gay ass ninjas” and called it a night.

 

Should’ve ripped the refs a new one, but probably wasn’t worth it. But at least speaking up for Brooks would’ve been nice.

We did, but Sengun was missing layup and airballing floaters. Sengun haven't been playing as well as he started the season.

 

Take a drink everytime SVG says that we can't shoot. Wake up 2 days later

 

Tip your hat and move on. Prepare for another winning streak. We need a point guard badly.

I like Malcolm Brogdon as a solution. He doesn't always stay healthy, but we just need the extra depth. It would take Aaron Holiday, Jock Landale and JST and one SRP. You'd have to find a third team to take one of those rockets players which wouldn't be difficult.

 

Good/great teams don't let the refs decide who wins close games! As usual, our defense was able to keep us in the game down the stretch, but our offense still derails at times! It was a game that we probably should've won, but regardless of the loss, this team is competitive, growing, and definitely moving in the right direction!! ENJOY!!
