This is the worst - the days when clock takes a step back as
soon you watch away for a blink.

You should be more specific to mention: midnight of Saturday US time. !!! :D :D :D

The 2nd China Game in Beijing will be held on October 17 (Sunday) 11:30 am (Beijing Time), which is your Saturday 23:30pm Eastern time.

Yeah, it's funny, since ESPN said Sunday too. I was like, ooops! But it's the wacky time zone!

Oh, well. My Tivo is going to take care of it. :D

i agree - the team is much easier to watch - especially in transition - much quicker up the floor - MdGrady and Ward both see the open floor well and McGrady is very opportunistic in transition - the Rockets actually have a transition game now.

Also plays seemed to unfold quicker.

In the first half - yao got 4 fouls - two of which were Kings flops - according to B.Walton those two fouls were due to a new rule allowing defenders to maintain position - and discouraging bumping them out of position. He must not have been watching the same game - because they were classic flops.

I hope the rule change doesn't cause more flopping this year.

Nothing too funny from what I can remember.

But there was a hilarious clip of Walton riding his bike in the middle of Shanghai traffic, wearing a "Grateful Dead" Shirt and Helmet.

It should be Sunday. If the game is 11:30 AM in China on Sunday, then it is around 11:30 pm in USA. We are 12 hrs behind.

I'm not sure if anyone mention this but Brad Miller gave the opening tip to Yao. I wonder if this is a class act from Miller to show respect for Yao in his home country or is he just lazy and dont bother to go for the tip. Whats your guys thought?

One clear distinction. Jud Buechler could at least shoot. He was like Scott Padgett. He served a purpose, not just as a cheerleader.

miller might gave yao the jumpball, but he clearly outplayed yao. Yao gotta get rid of those butterflies when he steps on the floor. I know miller's a good center, but come on......

Yao always have difficulies with outside-shooting centers like Miller, JVG should have let Padgett guard Miller.
