I'm not sure you understand the purpose of his contract, nor how it is structured.

The poster said: How long are the Rockets gonna keep this dude? He’s had plenty of opportunities to show what he can do and he hasn’t made much progress since being drafted. Dude is a turnover waiting to happen and weak playing around the basket. This is Joe Chi all over again. Actually, I thought Chi was better since he was a good shot blocker. This guy doesn’t offer anything.

    About Harty

Now we would love to have him

I thought Trader Morey's reign was history. I hope all these trade talks on CF are just speculative fun and not a lingering effect of the Church of Morey syndrome. The team, as it is, has great chemistry and the locker room environment is great. I think there is no sense in tinkering with the lineup at this time even at the edges such as trading anyone like Landale. I suggest the FO allow this team to keep improving and run its course before any changes no matter how marginal. It looks like there is no one in the trade market who will make any significant improvement to the Rockets at this time, so let the team ride with what it has.

He use to live at the penthouse in my building but moved out a month ago. A sign?

He's a perfect 3rd string center, definitely no reason to get rid of him.

He was out of a game recently for "personal reasons." Maybe those personal reasons were just moving.

Agreed. No real need to move him, and it's not like we'd get anything for him anyway. Plus, Adams might need rest or get injured at some point and we would need a big body.

Isn't this the same dude that is notoriously anti-Yanier Diaz in the stros forum?

Yeah, he's not Alpi creative, but he's solid facilitator. His picks are like trying to get around the Great Wall and his ability to grab OREBs is awesome.

With Tari Eason currently injured, together with Steven Adams, Landale would be needed in the playoffs for sure.
