This is a celebration in here. The Rockets now have 3 real ones, not just one. And we might have more in the chamber with Tari/Bari/Reed/Cam. Unreal… We also have some of the best vets in the NBA with Fred/DB/Adams, etc. Maybe my favorite Rockets team ever. Updated play/minus after 38 games:
Alpi avg more TO a game than JG Alpi had a passing TO and fumbled ball in paint that was almost a turnover it happens to both players late because we tend to run to the well a few too many times closing out games

This team is growing the right way. Rox just need to give them time like what OKC did with Shai and their team.
Jalen is playing like legit Super star. Alpi has not been playing the best lately. There have been times when Alpi has played well and Jalen has not. Its totally fair to point out the errors or weakness for either or both, but my Bros, we should not bash one player when the other does well. Lets root for both, they are Rockets after all, they are Rockets from day one.
Ya I posted it b4 the 4th cause I was not liking what I saw. But he redeemed himself in the 4th quarter and help secured the dub which is the most important thing
I will say it again, his shooting is keeping him from being the star he could have been. He looks like someone who has no muscle memory when he shoots, has not had enough repetition. That’s why open shots go short, long, right, and left. That’s on him, I’m 100% convinced he has not put in the effort in that regard. Most guys become better shooters, he’s arguably gotten worse over 4 seasons. Defenders back off of him and he’s not quick enough to beat a decent defender backing off, he needs the threat of a shot.
Full Michael Malone pregame presser. A part of it was posted on x, cutting in midsentence just after he said Sengun does a great job rebounding (0:44). Says you can see the comparisons between Alpi and Nikola Jokic, with Alpi making his teammates better (1:44). Praises Ime and many Rockets players (Alpi, Jalen, Amen, Steven Adams, Fred, Dillon, Uncle Jeff...). Nice to hear from such a great coach.
Missing alot of ez shots he normally make but at least his playmaking ability is setting folks to ez buckets
Jalen has more turnovers than Sengun in clutch time this season. It doesn't mean the rest of the game doesn't count. He's just saying down the stretch in a close game, he trusts Sengun more than Jalen not to turn the ball over. And the stats show that he is correct.
How long before we stop saying he "normally makes" those shots? At some point missing them becomes normal.
At least the turn around jumper is falling for him. But man stop missing these less than 1 foot open bunnies! Inexcusable to miss those. I had no problems with anything else he did in the game. Easily could have had a 26-28 point triple double if he played in the fourth.
Jalen Green is to blame for playing like an all star too, he needs to get traded asap before he becomes a top player in the league.....
