I opened up Netflix and saw this sitting at #1. Once I checked RT and saw the audience score was 25% higher than the critics (88% vs. 63%), it's automatic for me to give it shot when I like the genre. Very good IMO.
He's been in some good stuff, but If anyone should've been cancelled... EDIT: Oops, I was thinking Emile Hirsch. Will definitely watch at some point.
I loved that movie and actually bought it on DVD. Hirsch had a few drinks then violently attacked a woman after she brushed him off. Seems strange to me that other celebs have been completely ostracized for less but he's still acting. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Hope he's turned his life around...
"Blood and Thunder" is a good one...it's a great book all-around. "Oh What A Slaughter" is a great Larry McMurtry history about that and things of that nature....oh and my old friend Gwynne's "Empire of the Summer Moon" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_and_Thunder_(book) If you (this is the universal "you") like historical fiction about Texas, and consider yourself a Texan, you should read "The Son" and "Gates of the Alamo"
