I did say earlier in the year that I'm not going to truly buy into the hype until Jalen has hit league average efficiency. So I'm still holding out on my apology form and all that. But I will say his insane efficiency these past games is now taking him eerily close to league average. And he's in the area that you can definitely live with your volume scorer being in. The only thing I will say is that most of the people around him are better playmakers. But if he can raise his shooting a bit further up to finish the season, in the .580+ TS% range while maintaining his play in other areas of the game, I will eat my crow and be converted to be a true Jalen believer. https://www.nba.com/stats/players/advanced?CF=FGA_PG*GE*15&dir=A&sort=TS_PCT
why does a team where an inefficiently-shooting Sengun has a very high usage kick ass like this, @aelliott
What has been really exciting to watch is how Jalen just soaks up Ime's guidance like a sponge. He's a good egg.
Great back to back test. Don't expect them to necessarily win but I feel like if we get one that would be a great sign.
“Cautiously optimistic” it’ll come crashing down? Are you really that much of a hater, or are you too dumb to understand what “optimistic” means?
Jalen had a right to be pissed. Russ undercut him with no chance of making a play. It wasn’t hustle it was dirty. Think it’s great that Jalen is having fun and talking sh*t.
Are you a Sengun believer? Sengun hasnt even hit these numbers and his FG% have gone down each year since his 2nd year. Jalen is already more efficient than him so why does he need to hit some other bar? I believe in Sengun, Jalen and Amen and I dont give a crap about their numbers. I care about results and these 3 are driving wins. Their numbers can go up and down thats what happens when you are young.
