We're not trading streaky Jalen - boy been on fire these days. I prefer to trade for KD...we can keep FVV, and give them some of our young wings in return: Tari or Bari/Cam/Brooks, their first round picks....our starting lineup would look like this: Sengun/Adams Amen/Tari or Bari KD/JTate Jalen/Reed FVV/Aaron Holiday In addition, we can pick up a key player from waivers...I'm pretty sure some veteran will be waived after a trade is executed...with KD on our team, Houston would be a hot spot for late-season waiver pickups. #Championship
Booker gives us a legit go-to guy and would make life easier for everyone else. Imagine the other team’s second best perimeter defender trying to stay in front of Green. Or the extra space he’d give Sengun due to gravity alone. FVV + picks + whatever for Booker + Jones 2025 championship let’s goooooo baby
Damn right we want Devin Booker! Thats the move thats been preordained since we swapped those Nets picks - lol! or KD would be the econo-route, where we send out far less... either way... this is the move where we double down...
Booker and Jones for Fvv/Whitmore/pick or two and filler sounds good to me. I am so grateful for what Fred has done for us, but Tyus Jones does most of that.
on paper, i like it. just watching this team come together its extremely hard to picture breaking up something that could potentially be very special.

Booker folds too often in big moments. He only had good clutch time stats/shooting in the 21-22 season. Before and after that he is not a consistent go to player in the clutch. Also he cannot lead teams in the playoffs. Even a few years ago, when he scored a lot of points, most of those stats were in losses. If the Rockets are cashing in their assets for a big move, they have to bring in a player who is more dependable in clutch time moments which is where the Rockets struggle.

(brace yourselves, these are truly insane) Devin Booker traded to Houston for: Proposal #1: Sengun, Thompson and multiple number ones Proposal #2: You aren't getting 6 more years of prime production from Book. He is 10 years in with heavy miles. Not a knock down shooter nor particularly athletic. The idea that Houston doesn't have assets that could sustain playoff appearances doesn't track. But it has to be one of Houston's studs (Sengun or Green) plus a couple of Thompson, Eason or Whitmore and picks. If that was on the table, the Suns would be fools not to do it. Not going anywhere with Booker as the "franchise." Proposal #3 Give me Alperen Şengün, Jalen Green, Tari Eason and Draft Picks! You can have Booker.... Proposal #4 Sengun and 2/3 of Thompson, Whitmore, and Eason, plus the '25 and '27 picks, and one more first. Then trade KD. You might miss the playoffs one year, but youd be competitive in a hurry.
