To be honest, any team with Sengun, Amen, and Jalen under Ime’s coaching will be successful. Losing Brooks, Jabrari and picks for an elite star will take us to the next level to compete and beat the Bostons and OKCs.
I don’t think the Rockets are title contenders this year even if we make moves. Realistically our offensive rating without factoring in offensive rebounds is like 28th. I doubt we can beat the Celtics or OKC with or without a trade this year. Our young players haven’t developed enough yet and none of them have peaked. I think we should make major moves in the offseason once FVV team option is on the table. On a side note isn’t it amazing how Udoka has turned this team from like 20-60 to the number two seed in the west in just 2 years? We almost made the playoffs his first year here after 3 years of being the bottom of the west.
We got multiple stars in the making, we don't need to rush anything. Let OKC have their fun, we all know this league is fickle when it comes to competition, any bad injury luck can completely crater a franchise and so far it's looking like Chet is very injury prone (not surprising considering his build). I just pray that Stone isn't dumb enough to trade Suns picks for Booker. Idk if any of ya'll seen Suns schedule in March: Wolves>Clippers>Nuggets>Mavs>Grizz>Rockets>Kings>Lakers>Raptors>Bulls>Cavs>Bucks>Celtics>Wolves>Rockets Then April... Bucks>Celtics>Knicks>Warriors>Thunder>Spurs>Kings All of those teams are playin/playoff teams minus the Raptors who we already know they play hard.
