You take your shots on talented guys and if you miss no big deal. If you hit that's a game changer.

6'3", 210 pounds. 9-3/4" hand span. Slow (4.73). Does he have good hands? He could be a sleeper as a possession receiver.

It appears Jared Wayne, Xavier Johnson and Johnny Johnson are on the Practice Squad as WR and Teagon Quitoriano at TE is on RI Designated for Return.

But Cade Stover was placed on IR and that's probably for the year. But I don't know if he'll be replaced with someone like Beck or Hairston or a TE.

I hope it doesn't sour the organization on future disgruntled players. Being disgruntled doesn't always mean being an energy vampire. My thinking was Diontae would hide that he doesn't have a reflection for a month for self preservation. He couldn't make it 3 weeks. Yikes.

The separation between the virtue of confidence and the vice of conceit is small, but it means everything.

Back to Baltimore: The Ravens claimed their former WR Diontae Johnson on waivers today from the Texans, per the league’s wire. This a procedural move and Johnson won’t officially be “awarded” to the Ravens until after the Super Bowl. But he qualifies as an unrestricted free agent this offseason and, if he signs with another team, he factors into Baltimore’s compensatory pick formula, potentially helping it obtain an additional draft pick in 2026. Johnson doesn’t have the ability to play this post-season and likely won’t step foot back into the Ravens’ facility. But he now can help Baltimore in the off-season.

So we lost out on Compensatory draft picks by cutting him. That sucks….

    We don't know that.

Assuming the postseason waiver wire is the same as usual, that means almost the entire league already passed on him for free after we cut him. I guess it's theoretically a cheap gamble to try and steal a late pick but if no market exists for this dumbass it means nothing.

Turned out even more ridiculous than I thought. Dude is a complete ****ing jackass and while I understand the move, this was predictable as ****. He’s a complete shithead and maybe the least team oriented player I’ve seen in a long time. Deserves to be out of the league and will be soon enough.

What are the odds that any NFL team signs this head case after all his childish shenanigans?

Lol at ODELL being far less drama more professionalism than this bonehead.

This is what people imagined Stefon Diggs is, but actually isnt. Seems Diontae got paid, doesnt care about sh** anymore except playing for numbers. If teams even want him anymore, maybe he'll "adapt" if he starts going broke.

Someone will sign him at a discount and cut him when his inflated ego takes over and his attitude stinks. But he should learn the lesson of Diggs. Come in with an attitude of gratitude that someone has taken a chance on you.

You like the "Attitude of Gratitude" rhyme? My inner poet is spilling out or my dementia is.

Well, if he was a sexual abuser or domestic violence offender it wouldn't stop the Browns, Chiefs, or Cowboys from signing him.
