Smart play. If the Suns want their picks back they gotta give up their best piece, not their elderly or overpriced pieces.
I like Book, but let's see about this in the summer. I want to give this team a chance to prove what they can do before I start making big franchise-altering trades if I'm Stone.
To get booker im sure theyd have to give up some young pieces. If this is true I wonder if they believe Green and Book can play together? I mean, they'd almost have to believe that, right?
[Macmahon]: (Regarding the Rockets), “they’ve let it be known that they are Devin Booker fans” (16:39)
Would be a mistake imo. One of the Suns biggest issues is they have no real point guard outside of 15m from Tyus Jones. Book has good play making abilities but he’s not a point guard. JG also isn’t really much of a playmaker so this would be a bad backcourt fit imo. I’d hope it would be one or the other. Edit: Unless they let Amen move into a point forward role then maybe.
Maybe Green and Book could work if they wanted to let Amen run the point and also run the offense more through Sengun? Book at PG hasn't worked that well for Phoenix. Personally, trying to be objective, I'd favor Booker over Green, if that's the choice. However, if he keeps playing like he has, I'd hate to let him go. That would be a tough choice. Is Jalen on another heater, or has he figured it out? It's hard to say.
Water is wet. The Pope is Catholic. A bear shi*s in the woods. In Mexico, the official language is Spanish. Certain U.S. territories notwithstanding, the Pacific Ocean comprises our country's western shoreline and the Atlantic, our eastern shoreline.
I feel like the PG aspect isn’t that big of a deal if the team is running out Book, Green, Amen, and Sengun. Plenty of facilitation.
Booker is averaging 43.7% from the field. This is after years of efficiency. Y’all think it’s a fluke or signs of concern? we may be better off keeping the core and picks
