The Thunder Rockets Clashes are gonna be epic for years. This is the new Warriors Rockets Clash Hopefully we do better in this one well . . .. correction . . .. hopefully the REFS WILL ALLOW US TO DO BETTER Rocket River
I'm annoyed that OKC has been this damn good without Chet lol. It's going to be a nightmare to match up with OKC the next few years. Hopefully Jalen continues playing like he is playing because that's the only way we are going to have a chance. With a Jaylen/SGA backcourt, OKC just appears destined to have a dynasty assuming they stay healthy and they pay their guys. I'm also annoyed that they have the trading chips this deadline to make a significant trade if they want to.
Here is the thing IMO Houston Basketball is known for 2 things 1. GREAT BIG MEN - Yao - Hakeem - Ralph - Dwight - Hayes - Moses We have a great tradition of Big Men 2. Innovative Basketball - The Hakeem Office - The Barkley Hakeem Offense - The D'Antoni System(More importantly the Bzdelik defensive system) I have confidence that Ime and crew will come up with something Rocket River
It's interesting that some here still claim the West is the better conference. What would happen if the 2nd place team currently in the West played the 2nd place team in place in East? It would be a beatdown of epic proportions. You can't argue that, so don't try. The Rockets against ANY of the top 5 in the East is not even a contest. Just something to ponder as you comment here about your precious Rockets. This is the NBA section of the site, save your butthurt comments about anything NFL related for somewhere else. The Texans will end up in the same place as all the teams out of the playoffs currently. Only one team is happy at the end of the playoffs, and it's no team in Texas, like it has not been for 30 years. Do Texans fans want a parade for NEVER having won a division round game in your history? I digress, we are getting into the heart of the NBA season. No time for any butthurtness here.
Boston's last 4 Losses - KLings/Thunder/Pacers/Philadelphia and Orlando yea. . .I think the Rockets could take them Rocket River Esp at full power
You can post anything you want to try and defame the EAST. And I am not slamming the Rockets, I just hope some here stop delusionally claiming the East will be the easier conference to win, or the best conference.
"This is the NBA section of the site, save your butthurt comments about anything NFL related for somewhere else." - proceeds to comment on the NFL and bash Texans
That PackerNation dude went to my Ignore list in record time. He/she has nothing meaningful to say, just coming in here to bash Rockets fans and make condescending remark. He has no business posting in a Rockets forum.
Overall the West is stronger. The east is top heavy with 2 of the top 3 teams in the association. I think the Rockets could beat any team outside of Boston. Cleveland is having a hell of a season but they haven't proven anything. NY has definitely improved. The West has a much better record head to head vs the east and that's not debatable.
Funny how you fail to mention Milwaukee. You know damn well Milwaukee is a better team than Houston. Tell me the duo on the Rockets that is in the same universe as Giannis and Dame. I'll wait. I can admit the Rockets are a good team, and I don't forget to mention them when discussing the West. Post each teams(East and West) record against one another. All teams in East and West.
The west is 18 games over .500 overall. The east is 18 games under .500. It is easier to figure out where the difference comes from. Out of conference games.
About to sit down and watch Magic vs. Bucks. The Magic are another team many here fail to mention when talking about the East. I think the only teams in the East some here know are Boston and Cleveland. I guess many here are casual NBA fans.
Why are you even on a Rocket's BBS? I get it Clutch created the best sports community, but you're on the wrong team.
