We are not going to make the playoffs if he doesn't improve his rotations quickly. He is a great defensive coach, great. He, so far, is not a good offensive coach and does not handle his rotations well. His love affair with FVV is the first thing that needs to change. January is going to change a lot of people's opinion on Ime. We had a relatively weak schedule and the Terror Twins bailed this team out over and over. If Tari doesn't come back, Cam is really going to have to step up.
https://www.basketball-reference.com/draft/NBA_2024.html So far, this looks like the worst draft class in league history.
Damn does this team need Reed Sheppard to develop. Yesterday showed what we could be with a Jalen that knows how to identify traps and has more room to run thanks to Amen. Reed could be the final Infinity Stone as yet another high IQ passer and defensive menace/transition player. He's a much more lethal transition player than FVV.
The absolute best case scenario for the rockets is reed and jalen both work out, and we have reed/jalen/amen/jabari/alpi as our starting 5 in 2-3 years as a legit contender.
reed is a bust and sucks, but using booby logic he maybe a bust and sucks now that might not b the case in the future.
Random stats: Reed Sheppard still does not have as much total 3's and points for the entire season, as Jalen Green had BEFORE HALLOWEEN, the first week of the season. Jalen Green ONLY vs Spurs this season, has just 5 less fewer 3's than Sheppard's season total Cam Whitmore just his games in January halfway, has almost equal total 3's & points of Sheppard's season total We saw what Sheppard did in G League. But that is a lot of futility for an elite outside shooter, first guard in his draft. I think Sheppard should put in several more games in G League to sharpen up the development
