We win by 20, 10 assist by Fred, Triple Double Alp, 20 reb game by Amen and Cam goes off for 6 threes and 1 jam over porter jr.

 

I’m calling it now: Tari will play!

 

I’m glad the schedule is tough with Jabari out because we need these games to get a good sample size of what this team looks like with Amen starting and we need that sample size against quality opponents. And it also helps us evaluate Jalen’s progress against the better competition and not the wizards and pelicans.

I keep saying the lack of depth with Bari and Tari out will catch up with the Rockets, but not a big problem so far.

I think these Denver/Sacramento back-to-back road games are where it happens.

We really need one of these two because after that we get only a short reprieve against Portland and Detroit, but then have to play against the Cavs twice, Celtics once, then Grizz one last time--probably the toughest four-game stretch this season. I could easily see us going 1-3 in that stretch. If we manage to just go .500 the rest of January I'll be very happy with that.

The schedule makers finally give us a game in which the other team plays the second game of a back-to-back.

 

Each game Tari doesn't play, he takes another step away from being a vital part of the core.

 

Unfortunately, unless the Mavs make a huge run, most of the Nuggets starters will get to rest the entire 4th quarter. What a worthless game by the Mavs.

 

I would love for our future playoff starting lineup to be Amen, Green, Dillon, Jabari, and Sengun. With Eason, Fred, Cam, Adam and Tate from bench.

Eventually would love for Amen, Green. Cam, Jabari and sengun lineup and let them run.

 

I don't know. Let's see Murray try that against us. More worried about Jokic obviously.

Can we suffocate the other 4 and keep Jokic to 25 points and like 7 assists? Could be the recipe. Steven Adams will be needed, Russ can't shoot so we might be able to get away with some double big lineups today.

Adams vs Jokic (just push him out as much as possible and deny him, turn him into a shooter we take our chances)
Sengun vs Gordon (50% chance Sengun can guard him by sagging off slightly? Keep the paint congested may be in our favor this time?)
Amen vs Murray
Green vs Westbrook (again, slightly give Russ space, no speed advantage here Russ and you better be ready to guard Jalen or he torches Braun/Murray)
Brooks vs MPJ
