I liked Dillon to start the year. I then he's cooled off a bit lately and his defense isn't nearly as good as you think. He still forces up too many shots and now he's just blocking out young guys. I'm shocked they don't call fouls for his high 5 contests more.

 

I think, Amen is going to be our best player since Hakeem... He sort of is that type of player in my opinion, despite not being a center he is a guy I keep comparing to Hakeem in that he is just a humble kid that has insane defensive capabilities but can also drop 30.... I think Amen will be here for the long run, I also think Jalen will eventually become a Kobe light type player but he is going to bounce when he becomes a top 5 player in the league...

Well dunno about the Jalen bouncing parr but Amen just needs to continue to shoot better and diversify his game. He’s on the right track

Cam Whitmore went 4/7 from 3. He did a pretty good job.

Agree with all that. Amen is something diff.

Jalen will go to La when he has a chance to bounce, unless the team is on fire and he doesn’t need to, but one day he will.

 

Sometimes Green looks other worldly, sometimes he doesn't, but I think he is getter better overall. Thompson is just money. Rockets have a lot of talent, some of it is in developmental mode, maybe a year or two away. When Smith comes back, Thompson has to stay on the floor. What happens to Brooks? Cam is contributing. Reed is sitting. I would send him on several GLeague tours.

 

It's a good way of putting it. I haven't seen many dudes who are capable of locking down multiple positions the way that he does. He's an absolutely elite defender.

 

When I watched it initially, I thought that the foul was up top because he wasn't vertical. His arms kind of came down on Jalen.

1). Pretty awesome to see Jalen continuing to hit shots and getting to the rim.

2). Pretty awesome to see Cam continuing to score at great efficiency.

3). Pretty awesome to beat Memphis 3X this season.

 

Unsung play of the night is Cam passing to Holiday to hit a 3 at the halftime buzzer. A few months ago, Cam does not pass that.

 

He is also playing solid D....

Great defense by Jalen on Ja at the end of the game leading to a Dillion steal. He was on one today!

We need to keep it rolling in Denver. They will be on a back to back so hopefully the young guns can keep there breath at mile high.

 

I don't really like this. I think Udoka's approach is much better for discipline and success. The Grizzlies win on talent but they are much more error prone than the Rockets. (They turn the ball over way more)
