You literally said you saw no path to a Texans victory Now you knew they would win? Take your trolling ass the **** outta here
Yep. Could be the night slot but that will still depend on the possible NFC matchups. KC not the ratings draw this season that it has been in years past and the Texans bring them down even further.
ESPN is showing The Lions and Chiefs playing Saturday. So I’d assume KC v HOU will be early game Saturday w/ DET vs WASH/MINN/RAMS Saturday night. And I would assume BALT v BUFF will be the late game Sunday
Probably. It’s like a fantasy draft with the networks. Once CBS claims Bal-Buffalo, then NBC/ABC/Fox will distribute the rest based on some pre-set priority order.
No matter what, the MNF game winner will be on a shorter week…. But Detroit will play the lowest seed remaining, so its still TBD. TV runs all. I’m hearing ABC/ESPN will have Texans-KC on Saturday afternoon. NBC gets Detroit/whoever in prime time. Fox gets the other NFC game 2 pm Sunday…. Then CBS gets Buffalo-Baltimore in evening time Sunday.
Is this game bigger than last year? We were a 2 point dog, won by 31, made Joe Flacco cry and CJ Stroud was playing like Tom Brady. This year we were a 3 point dog and won by 20. I don't think this game even beats last years game in Texans history let alone the history of Houston sports.
Those losers in KC have been playing Saturday games 2 years in a row. 3 if that's the day for next week's game. I like Saturday games
The game experience yesterday was very different than the Browns game last year. There weren't large numbers of visiting fans chanting or barking out loud. The few Chargers fans were very polite and knew their place. The utter despair after Metchie's early fumble was palpable. But when CJ fumbled on a seemingly hopeless 3rd and long and and hit Hutchinson near midfield, the place was lit from then on. The turnaround yesterday was clearly due to CJ getting his act together. Early on his vibe was terrible, he was indecisive and held the ball too long. I couldn't decide whether the problem was CJ or that none of the receivers were getting open. But he flipped the switch in the 2nd quarter and started releasing the ball quickly. At that point the game was over because of how the defense was playing. Stingley and Lassiter were in control. Sometimes Stingley even seemed to toy with their WRs. Last year he followed Amari Cooper all over the field. Last night he stayed mostly on the left side. Bullock is also solid but they definitely need another safety to plug the gap. Al-Shaair played like an nasty dog. He inflicts a lot damage even when he isn't the main tackler. Texans get their money's worth of effort from that guy. Christian Harris was non-existent. Last thing: Tytus Howard cannot be a starter next year. Hopefully they are able to trade him for pocket change.
