If you truly think this then stop wasting your time posting here and watching the games. And what the hell is Derrick Henry’s comeback story? What’s he “coming back” from? Lol
Nice to see the doom posters hop back on the train. It’s a new season. If CJ is dual threat CJ this is a new offense. Watching the D in person is where you can really appreciate the “swarm” mentality. These guys fly to the football. It was more impressive than JJ’s “Bulls on Parade” defense.
Frustrations with my 3rd viewing of the extended highlights: -Eight targets went to Metchie. Caught 4 of them, 1 fumble and another near fumble for 28 yards. He needs to channel that player Nick drafted. -The throw to Dalton was a little ambitious but the right idea if Derwin James was a linebacker and not a safety with 4.46 speed. Ugh. It worked with Beck last season because dude is fast. It was the only play the worked against the Jets over in MetDeath field, 2023. -With the high usage of bootlegs in this offense in the near future, 30 ground yards for Stroud should be easy peasy. 30×17 games, 500 yards. Martin Maldonado needs to teach him how to slide with style. -No more half back option plays please. - why did we go away from using the middle of the field once Stefon went out - Diontae only getting 1 target and caught it for10. -2nd or 3rd and 1 when the running game is working and you opt to air it out. It has happened so many times that one might consider it a pattern of misreading the room. (Dallas, GreenBay, Cincy last season, Jets '24, Colts 2nd game ) - Broken plays are our most successful, unfortunately.
The majority of the offensive struggles can still be pinned on the O-line. Their inability to pick up simple stunts and base pressure has been evident all season, and has only now forced the primary game plan to be a lot of quick slants/passes/routes (unless the running game helps open things up more downfield). Unfortunately, not sure how they fix the O-line entirely due to some of those contracts.... but it will go a long way.
Holy **** broncos fans travel as well as any team in the league. So much orange in the stands all the way up in buffalo. Maybe one day our fans will be as passionate
Yep but I had a feeling someone will suprise, either Steelers or Broncos. Hopefully it doesn't happen.
Who cares who we play? I’d feel fine getting another shot at Lamar only this time around we’ll have Aziz and Christian to thump. It’s all house money anyway. We’re not even supposed to be here right?
