It's his first season. He's obviously an amazing talent but I will always dislike him for how he acted towards us

Watching Spurs .. Wembayano will be a perennial MVP candidate as early as next year... Spurs are probably 1 star player away from being a contender .. Which is why I don't wanna be patient with the Rockets .. OKC and Memphis ain't going nowhere no time soon.. and they're just as young as us .. We need Fox now IMO

Wemby with 35 and 18 in a win at Denver while holding Jokic to 15-36 shooting

    it isn’t fair

if the Spurs get their hands on De’Arron Fox they will instantly be much better than us

Wowowowoowwow. Wemby isn’t even in his prime yet. Locked up Jokic like it was a Tuesday afternoon.

I really loved this - would be so much fun to play him in chess. Certainly have more of a chance of beating him than in basketball.

Wemby was extremely overrated last year but deserves all the hype this year. Apart from putting up monster stats and being a DPOY candidate he is leading Spurs to a winning record with pretty much the same roster as last year. Yeah they have Cp3, but Cp3 is old and washed.

The only thing that gives me pause about Wemby is his height. Historically players who can move that fast while being above 7'1 end up with short and injury prone careers. Lets see if Wemby can have a long and healthy career like his countryman Gobert.

I got into some wars calling him a "top 10 player RIGHT NOW" in the off-season with people who felt otherwise but I may have to eat crow....

...He could be a top 5 player right now

He wasnt a top 10 player before since his team was the worst team in the West.

Actually you are the one who needs to eat crow since you were claiming nobody could make that supporting cast be good last year. They literally have the same roster just added a washed Cp3.

This proves you wrong Wemby wasnt a top 10 player last year and now he is one thats why Spurs have a winning record.

Someone said they are forcing Wemby to constantly dribble and shoot since he’s already good in the paint. So when the Spurs are “serious”, Wemby will basically be unstoppable.

    Great player…

Also, just a cringey dork in general. It’s like having 7-7 Zuckerberg out there.

    Perfect San Antonio Spur.

Wemby might be Kareem, but Amen is going to be Dr. J…
