I wish we were a bigger market team. We’d get more media attention which would put more pressure on ownership to not stick with the shitty product. It can’t be overstated how much of a waste this season was. Maybe one of the worst seasons for any Houston sports team. At least top 5.
Earlier this year he was scrambling almost too much and now he’s reverted to the opposite end of the spectrum where he just sits there waiting for somebody to get open (95% of the time they never do after the first couple seconds) and takes the sack.
Why the **** is Metchie getting snaps over Diontae Johnson at this point? Metchie can't seperate, hold onto balls, or run proper routes. It's mind boggling how absolutely stupid this coaching staff is. I don't even think I was ever this frustrated with Bill O'Brian.
Him being immobile makes us so easy to defend. The running lanes are there, and defenders have their backs turned. It’s seems like he’s scared to get hit
This season is worse than a mere "sophomore slump" for Stroud. I no longer feel that he's the long-term answer at QB for the Texans, and I'm on the verge of thinking he may be an outright bust. He has talent but is too nice and mentally weak. At least the defense has showed up. But that's unlikely to be enough to win this game. Chargers will probably break this game open in the second half.
Slowick has played the Ravens defense 3 times and got worse every time. The Chargers run the same system and the Texans are worse than ever. Fire Slowick.
