    The few times I drove in icy conditions, I was driving slower than 80yr old grannies and sweating every second of those drives.

    A good set of winter tires will have your vehicle behaving pretty normally on snow, but of course nobody has those in Texas or I assume in Georgia

    Driven on icy roads
    Drove a big U-Haul truck filled to the brim through GA on Snowy Icy highways in windy weather at like 9 mph for hours lol. From someone who's never ever driven on that, it was tricky. The cars and jack knifed 18's in ditches made it a bit more tricky.

    I wonder if tire shops even carry these in the south. I thought about upgrading to winter tires after the 2021 debacle, but then forgot and just bought normal tires my next tire change.

    There is nothing you can do on black ice, I was sliding down a hill at 2mph in neutral last Saturday, I pulled into a parking lot and walked the last 2 miles home.
