from kerry's blog: http://blog.johnkerry.com/blog/archives/003477.html#003477 -- FYI - I am deaf and can read lips okay...at the end of debate where Kerry and Bush shook hands.. Bush was asking Kerry, Can I talk to you later tonight? Kerry said sure then Bush said where would you be? I missed what Kerry said.
If that is true I'm glad they can get along away from the campaign. By the way, how can you bear to read that stuff? It's a lot of people praising their candidate to the best of their ability and forming conspiracy theories about the other candidate. And now it seems they're blaming SNL on Gore losing in 2000. Reminds me of something, I just can't put my finger on it.
Can you point out where this is, I can't find it and I really don't feel like reading all that crap. What was the post time, that would really help.
I not only agree ith this I will tell you these 2 9regardless of who wins) needs to begin to bring the country back together on 11/3/04. This campaign has been brutal and their are fanatics on each side. I just hope whoever loses can step up and say I think George/John can lead this country effectively and begin to pull the country back together. I fear it will be contested but I hope both candiadtes will do what's best for the country when teh results are posted.
Oski it's about a third of a way down the top of the page. Look at the post time stamp: 02:41 AM He just wanted to talk to his DADDY!!!!
My wife commented that Bush was asking Kerry something as they were shaking hands afterwards. We were making a joke about it! Hum...
Thanks mc. Maybe someday this conversation will find it's way into the memoirs of one or both of them.
I wouldn't be surprised. I'll bet all those guys hang out together outside of "work" regardless of what side of the isle they sit on. I've heard stories about congressional basketball leagues where some of the most famous political "enemies" actually play on the same team etc.
Ya I heard and saw that too. It was barely audible and I have a talent for reading lips as well. Off topic but I often can't seem to hear as well unless I am able to see their mouths when someone is speaking and talking on the phone has become increasing difficult over the past several years if there is any background noise at all. I'm starting to think I need to have my hearing tested...
Hey, if I don't have my contacs in, I'm almost a different person. My eyes are really lousy. I end up wearing them 18, 19, 20 hours a day. Last time I checked, I couldn't wear soft lenses, so it gets tiresome. Glasses are like Coke bottles. Maybe I'll get the surgery. (maybe I'm way off topic!) I didn't notice what happened between the two, but I'll watch that part again, later, and see if I can make it out. Keep D&D Civil!!
they probably wanted to get together and talk about the Skulls new pledge class. Bush: "man, those new guys are a bunch of p*ssies!" Kerry: "totally dude, they don't have to go through half the stuff we did." Bush: "remember when they made us down that bottle of Jack in 20 mins? man, those were the days!"
