That's the type of foolishness I laugh at. So what happens when Sengun has a bad game, can his poor body language be called out then? This is the definition of Turkish privilege

 

Eh in the context of the perceived outburst from Cam, the perception is that its directed at his coaching staff and teammates for not having the role he wants on the team. That is a big difference compared to bad body language towards refs.

But I'm on the "nothing burger" camp and we are overanalyzing body language.

Cam might be headstrong but i don't fear Cam wrecking the locker-room chemistry or doing something stupid off the court.

If you don’t like his playing style, or just dislike him because he steals the show from your fav players, I understand that.

Bigotry? that puts you in a different spotlight.

 

It would be an interesting study to see FT percentage and turnovers previous to sports gambling being legalized and the past two years.

What happened? I didn’t watch the game. I figured it was a positive game, we beat the #3 team on their court. Goon and Green had pretty good box scores… Now, it turns out it was disgraceful… I am confusion, America…

 

Because foreign players get alot of privilege yall don't give other players. For example, Cam's attitude is a problem based simply from his body language. But no problem with Sengun's body language every time he misses a defensive assignment & blames his teammates. Or what about him posting his highlights on social media after a loss? If Jalen did this you'd have all types of narratives. Sengun has a certain privilege amongst his fans

So much complaining... about the Rockets not being better.

Folks, remember - the Rockets are ahead of schedule. Heck, they’re even ahead of my wildly optimistic expectations.

 

I have said this before, whoever is helping him with his shooting needs to be fired. I don’t care if it’s someone on the Rockets or his own personal coach, he or she has done him no favors

 

I think the most level-headed die-hard Sengun fan on the board is @AroundTheWorld. I remember even him stating on several occasions thats Sengun's body language (esp. complaining about fouls) can be irritating.

No one is cutting him any slack. Actually, both Jalen Green and Sengun get the most heat on CF when they have bad games and the team loses. To me he is a decent player, but not at all-star level, at least not yet.

 

Impressive win, especially spotting them 17 with the missed FTs. Bit of a wrestling match; good to see the kids win the physical battle. Got some mental improvements to make-- right, Jalen? Et tu, Cam? Good to see FVV take over when we needed him most.

 

I don’t understand the negativity on this board. Down 2 guys that were giving you 11/6 each night and we’re holding the 2 seed in the West.

I think Jalen/Alpi combo to closeout games just isn’t working yet. It cost us Milwaukee and cost us Minnesota, but keep in mind they are 22 years old.

We’re too impatient nowadays with the young talent. Sure, some learn faster than others, but give this team its due.
