Im not understanding the Bo Melton infatuation.. seen him posted on the boards a bit and yet I havent seen him do anything in Green Bay. It's not like hes stuck behind other-world WRs either.
Bo would have been a low cost, high ceiling wideout & return man. Played well for Packers, but is buried on their depth chart. The injury to Watson might see him play more of the field stretcher role. Fun fact: his younger brother plays CB in AZ. Both had crazy good measureables.
Disagree about how good the Packers WR's are and they have probably the deepest wr corps in the league. There's no superstars but they are all above avg IMHO and go 5 deep
Which.makes no sense because as others have mentioned the Packers are thin at WR. If he's got anything I guess we'll see because Watson is done for the year
Pay no mind to the clueless and butthurt peanut gallery here. Bo is a 4.3 receiver with a ton of talent. With Reed, Romeo, Wicks and Heath ahead of Bo, he certainly isn't close to a number one option, but is certainly in the mix. Wicks is who will see more time & balls because of Christian being out. Wicks can stretch the field just like Watson. Of course Christian is a loss, but we NEVER use injuries and the officials as an excuse in Green Bay, like SOME here do with regularity. You said Romeo is a FA. Rome's contract runs through 2025 and it is highly probable Gute works on a new deal this offseason. Rome is going nowhere. Enjoy the game Sunday, keep your eye on Bo. He will make you want him in Houston even more. You are one of few here with enough football knowledge to realize Bo would be a welcome addition in any offense.
*finds someone sticking up for Green Bay player* "yOu'Re tHe OnLy SmArT oNe hErE!!" *Disclaimer* @raining threes I do enjoy your takes, and agree with you most of the time. Don't agree on GB WR's but nbd!
Oopsies. I need to block, fall victim every once in a while. Was trying to just have a convo with @raining threes but he likes to butt in and stir it up.
Misquoted me, I said threes is one of few here with enough football knowledge to realize Bo Melton would be a welcome addition in any offense. You would feel that too if he wasn't a Packer. If Bo or any current Packers receiver ends up on Texans, he will suddenly become the second coming of Jerry Rice in your mind. Perhaps if you stop listening to the peanut gallery that pretend to put me on ignore, but really are fans of mine, that hang on my every word. You then could engage in some high quality football discussions. You could start by explaining why you claim the Packers WR room sucks? It comes off as hate and jealousy towards me and the Packers. That's fine if you want to only slurp on the Texans roster, and can't bring yourself to give the Packers any respect, a team that everyone who follows or is involved in the NFL has ranked much higher than the Texans. A team that has a much higher probability to get to New Orleans than the Texans. Carry on hating, make sure you keep trying to impress your rubber knife gang, keyboard warrior buddies here. Enjoy the Packers and Eagles game Sunday, I know I will. You will be glued to your television just like everyone else here. Biggest game of the week! OneTeamOneNation PackerNation!
