Some of you guys are unchained. Prison? Why? Because he MAY have a bad attitude due to being discontent at his place of work? You never been angry at your boss or the lack of advancement opportunites? Crazy takes here on CF after some body language analysis by non-experts and one interview. What's he going to be in prison for?
The answer better be here Aaron Holiday lol because I can't think of anyone else remotely close to being worse than Cam.
Unless he's out here punching dudes or just refusing to do his job, this seems like a reach Not everyone has to be friends off the court
As someone whose disposition is mostly that of a loner, I can kind of see where Cam's coming from. Especially when I was in my college years. But I will say I would've been an absolutely horrible team-sports player when I was 20. This is one of those things where it definitely got better with age. So I think Cam, assuming he doesn't do something too stupid to get kicked off the team, will eventually get there. But yeah right now I wouldn't be surprised if his disposition is affecting the team in a negative way.
I’m guessing that the reason why Cam isn’t getting the minutes he expects is the same as the reason why Jalen didn’t used to get the minutes he expected in fourth quarters: He wasn’t playing defense to Ime’s satisfaction. Let’s hope he masters his emotions, does what the coach is asking, and starts a virtuous cycle of performance and reward and happiness.
"You won't trade your Cam Ferrari?" (Maybe if I make something up to lower the price) "It's terrible, look at it's tires and body language, the writing is on the wall. I'll trade you an '89 Jimmy Butler for it." (Please don't see through my BS)
Hate to say it, but I agree. There were times last season when I would've benched JG, but this year, with his defensive improvement and while he's in a good stretch--nope. Cam simply can't do FVV's job, and isn't anywhere near the defensive player he is. Amen is clearly more impactful overall given his defense and playmaking, and might be a better offensive player too. Same goes for Dillon, just better due to his defense. Tari and Bari, when healthy, can play the 4, which Cam can only really do against smaller opposing lineups--and are also probably more talented overall when you factor in defense. Cam can't play the 5, period. And of course is not as good as Sengun anyway. So with everyone healthy, that puts Cam at #8 on the depth chart at best. Aaron Holiday, I'd say it's arguable right now which of the two is going to be more impactful. Holiday is a more consistent 3P shooter, which is something the team needs, and better defensively except that he can only really defend smaller guards. Cam is more capable of just going off and racking up a bunch of points quickly. Tate is the only wing/forward type of guy currently getting rotation minutes who I think Cam clearly has more talent than--but I'm not surprised Ime favors Tate some of the time, he is a better defensive, hustle, team player, and those are traits Ime prefers over single-minded ISO scoring.
Since I consider myself a part of the "everyone" group, I would like to report to you that I do not see the writing on the wall.
If this becomes a real problem, then he will be the guy we don’t pay and he will eventually get traded unfortunately.
TMac has that sleepy, disinterested body language. James Harden has that "I ain't moving," lazy body language. Every time Tari Eason goes to the bench, he has that displeased body language. .......
