Overall, I would still consider Sengun the best in the team.

There is no doubt Amen has amazing potential to become the best.

We have many talented young guys, just let them play, learn and develop.

 

I honestly feel like if Amen becomes a league average shooter, he’s a top 10 player in the league, easy. He has so many tools. I love Amen’s game so much, and I really love his attitude

But my goodness Amen is bloody good already.

 

A unique, dynamic, explosive athlete who has a great motor and is a great teammate (who also reads the game at a high level). I haven’t had the pleasure of watching a player like this on the Rockets maybe ever. When we missed out on a top 3 pick, I didn’t know who we were gonna get. I am SO happy Amen ended up as our pick!!

 

Amen has the capability of being our Tatum. I am excited with the potential. No need to make any trades. We are very deep.

 

I said it in another thread, but I honestly can't think of a comp for Amen. 20/15/5, All Team Defense, can play 1 - 5 as needed. Who else can do that??? AND he's only 21.

Maybe a not-quite-as long but even more athletic Kirilenko? Both defensive stalwarts. Ak47 was also great at reading the game and was a great passer just like Amen is. He also had sort of a loose handle early on in his career, like Amen kind of does. I think Amen’s ceiling is higher, but I also think Kirilenko never got to reach his ceiling because of the era and Jerry Sloan’s coaching stiffness

 

Forget about the best player on the team.

Amen will be a superstar for a long time...It's obvious now, eventually one of the two or three best players in the NBA.

 

Yea he stands out. He’s my number 1 untouchable player on the team and I don’t have any issues with people calling him our best player.

 

Interesting how he played 41 minutes tonight despite the blowout. He played over 40 minutes last game, too. I could honestly see him becoming Ime's favorite. He definitely has the the makeup Ime wants.
