LOL, dude, you show all the psychological signs of being triggered. In the original thread you replied multiple times in a row without getting responses because statistics were greater than your eyes, continue to use 5 year old school playground insults and language, spent two days triggered and stewing, looked me up all over the forum, and finally worked up the courage to insult me on a completely unrelated thread 30 minutes before the next game. It's hilarious that you can't even see how you are presenting yourself, which is also ironic because you claim your eyes are perfect. Honestly, it's some of the most oblivious stuff I've seen from any poster on this forum.

    Keep digging that hole bud!

    re-read my post, man.

It might be semantics but you're interpreting what I stated above is that he doesn't "want" the money. I never said he didn't/doesn't want max money. Clearly he wants/wanted it from Riley. I'm sure he wants it and would start negotiations with that with any team he's on. Every player would want to get paid the max. The point of my conjecture (which is what all of us are doing since none of us are Jimmy) is that he likely isn't going to expect (realistically) a full max extension with whatever team acquires him. I mean he can say what he wants but at the end of the day if the market doesn't bear the value you look for you adjust your expectations. Can't make anyone give you a max contract if the market doesn't support it.

If some team out there with max cap space to sign him outright for the max amount and years then he can change his "want" to a "demand" but I don't see that in the 2025 offseason.

bottom line is my read is that he has a demand of Riley and the price to keep him would be that max extension. I don't think he would have that same demand of the other 29 teams in the league. He may "want" that contract from the other 29 teams. But my conjecture is that he doesn't realistically demand/command that in the off season from the other 29 teams.

The Heat will certainly not get what they want from the Jimmy situation and the LAST thing they want is for Jimmy to opt in and be pissing and moaning about his situation to ruin another season. Jimmy has 52.4 million reasons to feel ok taking this option if nothing else works out.

To be clear, I certainly don't want Jimmy in Houston and I completely agree that he doesn't wind up a Rocket![/QUOTE]

Him opting out and the heat getting nothing is a huge loss for the Heat, and things get even more interesting if no team steps up to spend on Jimmy. He then may opt in and take the 52.4 in that scenario which screws the heat even more.

IMO No way he opts out
He might sulk and pout but 52 million is 52 million

Agree (barring a multi-year deal on the table or wink-wink from Brooklyn -which I don't see happening)
