The unequivocal hands-down best teammate of Sengun & Sabonis is Fox and he’s the highest volume shooter of anyone you mentioned. He also makes double teaming Sabonis very tough and he gives Sabonis multiple wide open looks a game with his own creation. We can be, “fair to” Sengun and not just Sabonis.
Comparing defensive ratings to conclude Sengun is a better defender than Sabonis is wrong in the first place as these are line up metrics. When you swap Sabonis and Sengun, Sabonis will have a better rating and Sengun have a worse rating for the same reason and it doesn't compare the two players for the ame reason. However, you can look at the other 4 starters' defensive ratings. I am sure when Sengun plays for the kings, the other starters ratings will go down (while Sengun's defensive rating is going up) and similarly Houston's other starters' defensive ratings will get worse (while sabonis has a rating better than before), showing that Sengun is the better defender, pulling the Kings defense better and Sabonis is the worse defender making the rockets a worse defensive team.

5/6 is lucky but still his defense lately has been so much worse than early in the season and I’m not sure what’s up. Idk if it’s a fatigue thing or what, but teams tried to hunt him both on switches and pick and roll earlier this year and he did really well. But if he plays like he did tonight he’s gonna have to be benched.
