Speaking of Coach Walz. Even many Trump leaning voters feel more comfortable with Coach Walz. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/27/...try-football-walz.html?searchResultPosition=3 " In August, Mr. Walz spoke to the Quips team, accompanied by Jerome Bettis, a former Pittsburgh Steelers running back. He sounded like the coach he had once been. He thanked the team “for giving us the privilege to stand on this field.” He said that success in football meant trusting the guy next to you. “Our country’s not that different,” Mr. Walz said, adding, “The more we figure out that we’re in this thing together and we have more in common than we have separated, we’re going to do a heck of a lot better.” Though only a handful of players would be old enough to vote this time, Mr. Walz related to the teenagers in a way that other politicians haven’t been able to do, said Vashawn Patrick, the head coach. “What Walz said really made the players feel like he was one of them.” Danielle Sampson, mother of a Quips player, said Mr. Walz’s coaching past “would definitely” help Ms. Harris in Western Pennsylvania. Mr. Walz impressed her by speaking to the players with familiarity, she said, making him seem “so normal.” Mr. Cox, the barbershop owner, waved at the Harris-Walz campaign bus from the sidewalk as it passed his shop that day. That said, he is skeptical of promises and cheery speeches. Every politician pledges to bring back prosperity to Aliquippa, he said, but all have failed. He is leaning toward voting for Mr. Trump because the former president is a businessman and is “raw and tells you things straight to the point.” But he is still unsure. “I do love that he is a football man,” Mr. Cox said of Mr. Walz. “I feel like we could ease into a conversation — first, where we could talk about the game, and then when I could ask him, ‘What is your plan to build the economy for small businesses?’” “Right now,” Mr. Cox added, “I don’t know what Harris’s plan is to help guys like me.”
I find it troubling that you don't understand basic economics. This populist PR move will lead to insurance premiums going up and certain drugs not being available. People will die because of this. In the end, the taxpayer pays. Leftist politicians always pretend that they are doing something good for the people when they misdirect taxpayer money on government handouts to buy votes. Someone always pays the bill on socialist price caps. Hint: It's not "the big pharma companies".
I cant speak for that person but my health insurance rate actually dropped recently. I didn’t change plans.
I’m pretty sure Minnesota will be a health insurance desert in 2026 given that several are based here. Also 2026 will be a year into the second Trump presidency so isnt he supposed to have they great healthcare plan for the country?
I find the older cheap drugs just have terrible side effects new drugs are eliminating. The side effects do change doctors willingness to prescribe treatment and patient willingness to take the treatment so you could be right.
Like Harris would have done anything positive. Only thing she is good at is sleeping her way to a position of power because she can't do it on merit
Well I'm not accompanying anything. Nobody here is. I always take an opportunity to point out what a worthless piece of garbage she is. Because of her we're stuck with Trump. I don't feel bad at all
