If we can trade someone like FVV for Jimmy or Fox I’d do it in a heartbeat. Lol

If the only other offer is Bradley Beal... FVV may not seem so bad.

Jabari's injury definitely makes it a more interesting proposition... I always thought Fred would be a good fit for the Heat.

That being said, I'd rather wait to see if the Suns collapse and try to poach Durant on the cheap.

Jimmy bolts in 2 years, he is that kind of guy.

If Fox commits longer term, then Fox.

That's okay, he can leave after next year. I don't really care. I would trade him for FVV and go all in on Amen being our PG moving forward. Then I would scour the market for a decent back up because Aaron is not that guy and Reed has lost his confidence.

    Reed will regain his confidence.

I can see the Suns making a decision in the summer, so if we can somehow make a quick move now we make it. Don’t use any Suns picks for Jimmy. If we can get him for cheap let’s do it, however I’d consider using some of the Suns picks for De’Aaron Fox.

Agreed, but we need a decent back up in the mean time.

That’s about his only value at the moment, throw in Jock to sweeten the deal :D

If we were to trade Fred, would we just be handing the keys to the offense over to Amen? Not sure if he's quite ready for that? JG sure as hell can't do it, not enough playmaking/basketball IQ.

You could put together a lineup of Amen, jalen, brooks, butler, sengun and have the worst shooting lineup in the modern era, that would be pretty entertaining.

Amen at PG seems like it would be a disaster for this team

Idk why people feel he could actually adequately run a team

his handle is weak and his turnover rate is higher than his assist rate

I think the team would completely fall apart with Fred, and swapping Fred for Butler would make us worse.

FVV + Jalen + all Phoenix picks for Booker + Durant when the suns collapse. Rather be patient then pull the trigger early for butler or fox

I dont know why so many people liked your post. I already said they had less leverage than us before. Nothing has changed since I said what I said. the heat arent stupid if they trade jimmy they are going to let him stew until they get what they want. they havent been all that successful his year with him anyway. The Rockets need to hold steady for awhile and wait for the right thing to come along. not overpay 80 year old weird jimmy butler. If we were gonna go for a 35 yr old Id rather have harden. he is cheaper and a point guard which is what we need. I would rather have someone younger though so the rockets should hold tight and not be swayed by a bad game here or there. be patient

I feel like if we're trading for Butler it has to just be a big platter of salary filler and realistically at least one FRP to grease the wheels. Not sure if he's even worth that to us and would still rather trade for Cam Johnson at hopefully a similar or just slightly higher price at this stage in Jimmy's career.

Unless it's some kind of three team trade or two consecutive trades where we get a point guard.
