Is it late for Jalen to change his release? At least on threes? Career 32% on threes aint gonna cut it...4th year bud
This is the version of Jalen they enviosed when they drafted him. He just meed constancy. Can't have a 2‐11 game followed this
It truly does sadden me that clutchfans cant even get hype and enjoy his monsterous dunk from last night. It should be getting likes and talked about as dunk of the night, dunk of the month, etc... This board is a living embodiment of the lower bowl of toyota center tho. Instead its just perterbed silence and annoyance that he yelled.
Honestly one of his best games ever. Shame it came in an uncompetitive match where no else showed up. The defensive was fantastic. Locked Tatum up multiple times. Don't forget, Spring Green is coming as well.
It's about 7 years too late. The problem is not the 32%, that's fixable even right now. The problem is it's not fixable at 8 attempts per game. He can just take 4 attempts and move up to 35% or something. Then you can work on it without rushing. For Jalen, putting on muscle, playing defense and getting to the FT line seems way more natural to him than shooting.
Turns out they are fans of the team and not a single player. A random dunk is great, but the Rockets got their asses kicked. Last night was nothing more than a flashback of the tanking years.

it was posted just above in this thread... where you came, scrolled past, just to confirm what im saying.
They were referring to the crowd in the middle of the game and the team was in stroking distance when he did the dunk. So it wasn't just some garbage time play.
Jalen's PPP as the PnR ball handler is slightly better than FVV's. Shooting 3's better than Fred this season lol. Fred's assists down 25% too. It's starting to become ridiculous how these two are facing the exact same problems with the offense but some people want to believe it's all a gigantic coincidence. Based on PPP only: - Shocked to see Jalen is leading the entire team on spot ups and he's 35.5% on open 3's despite the struggles - As efficient as FVV as PnR ball handler - Almost as efficient as DeAron Fox on DHO's (though he gets half the amount of handoffs, a criminal oversight by Ime) - Our best or second best player in transition Impossible to shake the feeling that his poor performance is also significantly worsened by the systemic issues that are affecting pretty much everyone.
Oh yes if only there can be more "fans of the team" such as yourself, pining for more playing time for the worst performing top 3 pick that the NBA has seen in the last few years.
