It feels like Jalen has finally started to put it all together, especially with the addition of a mid-range game. He’s showing signs of evolving into the three-level scorer we’ve been hoping for. His aggressiveness is on full display, and it’s clear he genuinely wants the ball in his hands. It’s exciting to see him take that next step in his development. He just seems like he wants it, you can just see it.
All he has to do is run pick n roll with Alpe and make the right reads. They had one play that works all the time but they don’t run it a lot. That is a double screen on both sides of the defender which allows Jalen to choose which side is the easiest side to attack. He score every time they run that play for him. It’s time for FVV to let Jalen cook.
This Coaching Staff is really Bipolar. Alperen Sengun obviously was never a 1st option in the first place. Jalen Green can get points in bunches. He is ball handling more in the back court, setting up the offense, making some great bounce passes to Sengun.
If we can bring Fox onto this team, it’s going to be scary. With Amen, JG, and Fox pushing the pace, the speed and athleticism would overwhelm any opponent. On top of that, it’s clear the Fred-Sengun pick-and-roll isn’t as effective anymore—teams have already figured it out. However, the two-man game between Sengun and JG has proven to be absolutely lethal, giving this team an edge in half-court situations. And I'll give fred credit for letting JG cook today and letting him operate. Watching today's game feel like Fred knows he's about to be dealt.
I really liked what I saw last year when JG took over at point guard while Alp was out for the season. If JG can continue to capitalize on those mid-range shots and attack the basket whenever the opportunity is there, we’ll be in great hands moving forward. JALEN PLAYED SOME GOOD DEFENSE TONIGHT!
lol really? No I don't think so honestly. He's on a nice little upward swing for the past 12-15 games overall, but it's nothing to write home about for what I'm expecting from him this season. It's coming though.
The irony of you clowning on Reed.... whilst in year 4 still posting this stupid sh*t as if Jalen hasn't made people like you look absolutely idiotic 329749832 times before. Did he figure it out last game? Or the game before? How many games has he figured it out this season? Why does he figure it out but forget it for so many games following?
