The thing is I do not think Reed has the talent that Jalen has.......Reed only had potential to be a better shooter but he is even smaller than Jalen was.

Jalen and his scoring, his quick first step were advertised.

Those things were there from day 1 but he just failed at the other things.

Reed as an NBA player - that is like a blank page without him shooting well.

I mean yes we can by just watching them play?

Reed struggles to get up a shot. That has never been a problem with Green. Hell I'm pretty sure even in his rookie year he was in like the 90+ percentile in shot creation quality as in shots self created that are open looks. He just missed a lot of those good looks.

Jalen was pretty bad in his rookie season. You’re right about Reed not being awarded the same opportunities Jalen had to begin their careers. Just want Reed to shoot the ball whenever he’s in the game. Especially in garbage time.

Ray Allen once said the most underrated skill fans don't understand is the ability to get clean shot attempts off that aren't blocked against NBA defenders.

By that logic you can't make any comparison ever.

his contract has bonuses. For every shot he attempts, tilman must give his family 1 free presidential suite night at the golden nugget / post oak / San Luis.

That all time great in your avatar was a rookie at Green's age.

    People need some basic perspective.

It is not even Jalen Green, watch Payton Pritchard, he was shooting 40% in his first season with 3.8 three point attempts......

There is a reason why those white guys on the Celts bench come in and shoot better than others.

They are also much more active Duracell bunnies .....Reed is pretty slow and sluggish.

Aaron Holiday is a seasoned vet and now gets those trash minutes Reed was getting and he can barely put up 4 points. Hard to get into any flow playing 5 minutes a half. imagine a rookie. I'm now on board with those wanting him to go to the RGV for a month. Or maybe he really makes fools of Amen in practice and they see no use for him to go. Can't explain it

Watching Denver-San Antonio and the Nuggets get so many easy buckets just by having multiple cutters when Jokic posts up.

    Why can't we do that?

Reed archetype of a white combo guard shooter is not rare in this league.....watch any other guy succeed or fail on worse teams.

    Also Payton Pritchard much?

    You will know then.

Which is true in every draft but that doesn’t change the fact that Reeds draft class was widely predicted to be very weak and so far is looking like a pretty accurate prediction.

I am guessing Ime Udoka is just here to guide them to a better defense and more accountability....

They are going to hire an Offensive coach in 3-4 years, it is bound to happen. It happened to the Cavaliers.

Can Udoka with Stone's aid win something substantial in 3 years, that is the question.

There is some truth here...difference is HOW the team USES a player. Agree about starting on a worse team. JMO but our offense is often stagnant. Very little cuts and off ball movement. One thing is clear... we need Amen, Bari and Tari to be at our best.

But the draft strength is irrelevant Brickpard is playing worse than Bronny James who was the 55th pick in the weak class.

Lets say Brickpard would be the 30th pick in Wemby's class. Is he playing like a first round talent? No IMO he is playing worse than Daishen Nix, Josh Christopher and Tyty Lawson when those guys got PT.
