I'd go Jalen Green easily as the first option with the defense set. He's better on ball than the other Rockets without Sengun as a PnR threat.

I would not consider being better than the other Rockets on ball without Sengun as a PnR threat as a ringing endorsement for wanting Jalen Green on ball long term unless he figures something out. I don't see Green making plays off ball that often to want him off ball.

This was posted in another thread, but it's relevant here.

Imagine thinking this was the guy you want handling the ball and taking the shot at the end of games lol.

Jalen fanbois are a special kind of special.

Doesn't matter. Whomever takes the last shot will most likely brick it. Tari will eventually get a rebound and a putback. No worries

Jalen or even Cam, but with the caveat that I hope they are not so damn tunnel visioned that if the defense collapses they fail to pass to open man.

Why hasn’t he gotten more plays called for him on offense? o_O

Because he dribbles the ball behind him when he puts it on the floor.

Anyways I don't want to put Bari down now. Dude is going to be missed for a month because he's by far our best stretch big.

I'd use Jalen as a decoy in a tie game and roll the ball to Cam/Brooks for the win.

Down 1 with 10 seconds I dump into Sengun and surround him with shooters for that possession.

Certainly, but the premise of the thread is that Sengun has fouled out, so who is our 2nd guy in the clutch?

    Oh yeah.

In that case you play two man with Jalen/Jabari.

Jalen might be our best option in this scenario which is a huge problem given his inconsistency. Jabari or Cam might be more clutch imo
