If the report is correct around matching salary and draft capital, then I am ok with it.

We can't trade PHX pick away (Stepien), so Butler for Admas, Landale, Jeff and Tate isn't the end of the world.

 

He has done that tho right? Carried Heat to contender status... he recognizes they need more to get over the top and they brought him... checks notes... Oladipo & husk of Kevin Love.

But absolutely this a pattern of Himmy. I am fine as long as we don't give away the farm. I want the contender / dog DNA in our young players.

The only way I'm trading for a THIRTY FIVE year old Jimmy is if I know this Eason thing isn't going away this season. And it's only going to cost me a first round pick, ours not PHX in the future.

The Miami Heat traded Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk and a 2022 2nd round draft pick to the Houston Rockets for Victor Oladipo. 2022 2nd-rd pick is an opportunity to swap but did not convey, Houston also receives a trade exception
