An interesting stat I just stumbled upon.
Rockets are undefeated when I am 1st in the game thread.

It didn’t feel like a victory night early in the game but they came alive. Mavs started missing shots as well.

Was it hurting the team when was leading the team at the half going 7/11 with 0 ft's?

Him going 2/10 in the 2nd making 4/5 ft's didn't seem to hurt us getting the win?

When it was good, it was good, when it was bad, it was bad.

Crazy I have to explain that.

Fox has played his entire career on a King's system of high powered offense and little care for defensive effort.

Don't expect him to be the same exact offensive player if he got traded here.

    It's understandable.

Last season he proved he was better than Jalen Green when he got the chance to do what Green does.

And that same trend is starting to rear it's head again this season - whenever Cam gets the opportunity he's doing more than Green does with the for some reason never-ending opportunities he gets.

Must be pretty demoralising knowing you're better than someone, proving you're better than someone, but because ownership has to save face about spending the #2 pick on Green, Cam (and others) suffer because of it.

On the flip side he just turned 27. Usually 28-32 or so are the best seasons of a player's career, and a change of scenery can sometimes unlock an extra level.

Not true at all. Cam gets hot once in a while but when hes not he's a complete black hole. Jalen has better playmaking skills and Cam could have had a March like Jalen did? Lol stop making up lies.

I get some people don't have basketball as a hobby and just follow the nba casually but why do they have such confident opnions?

    @mario_v

How can you watch Cam and Jalen play basketball and think Jalen is replaceable with Cam? Cam is a wing who attacks closeouts, cuts to the rim and attacks in open transition when defenders are backpaddling.

Jalen Green for long stretches of NBA games is literally attacking only half court point of attack set defenses. You simply can't compare the two roles. Cam isn't out there splitting doubles against set half court defenses.

John Wall has played twice as many games. Dante hasn't played in more than half his team's games since the 2016-2017 season.

Didn’t watch the game, just the highlights but it was nice seeing Jalen attacking the basket more, hitting stepback middies and layups not settling for 3s while Alpi seems to be bringing back his great footwork around the basket and his creative touches in getting the ball in the basket around the rim.

I think Cam is making more and more of an argument to get consistent playing time as well. If he can be consistent instant offense off the bench, it’ll add a great wrinkle to our team.

Anywho, always a great night when we beat Dallas; would’ve been a HUGE bummer had we lost this one coming off the way we lost the last two.

    Go Rockets!
