Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for the second season of “What If…?,” its anthology animated series set across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Watcher continues the journey as our guide through the vast multiverse, introducing brand-new and familiar faces throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe The animated anthology series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles. Amongst the possibilities on offer in episodes in the new season is a past mission of Black Widow and Hanky Pym – The Winter Soldier, Gamora and Tony Stark teaming for a deadly race, the return of Hela, a legacy heroes team-up, and an all new character. The series is partly directed and executive produced by Bryan Andrews and written and executive produced by A.C. Bradley who serves as hesd writer. Question: Is Marvel releasing one episode per day instead of weekly because they know S2 is a dog and they want to get it over with quickly? I suspect this may be the case. Keep in mind in January, they are releasing the upcoming Echo series all at once because it's a flaming train wreck nobody wanted.
I skipped through the 6th ep....All that setup for a future episode no one is looking forward to. They really grabbing the bottom of the barrel of what if ideas in Marvel's 80 year history... Or something

Only the last three episodes were worth anything Last two particularly All the previously stuff was ishty And yes - The Girl Power endings was a bit eye rolling I don't mind it but it did feel agenda-ish Rocket River
What If is such a stupid concept. Anyone can rewrite existing stories in a multiverse. How about continue to develop characters on an arc and give them something interesting to do instead of playing to nostalgia and reliving the glory days from like 5 years ago. Also the animation is horrible looking. Like AI created or something. I’ve seen like two episodes and I think it’s hot garbage.
It's more like... What if - Captain Carter had her own show? I think it would have been OK if they actually did interesting what ifs and not random stupid ones and didn't try to push certain characters so hard. But, they've been trying to continue to develop characters in the MCU outside of this show. Its just no one cares about those characters.
Not sure that’s true though. Like a lot of people watched Moon Knight. Even Agatha was pretty well reviewed and watched more than most of the D+ content put out this year. The question of why should I watch is often intertwined with the question of where is this going? People won’t feel an urgency to watch an MCU show or movie if they see that the MCU is just kind of whatever about it and has no plans for it. Yet What If getting three seasons so fast tells its audience that this is what they think they want and it’s what the creators have energy and enthusiasm about which is shocking to me. Why is this crap priority to get three seasons??
You mileage may vary I have seen some who love it . .. others like yourself who don't I'm kind of in the middle. IT took me a bit to get use to it. That is kind of the problem WHAT IF was always about ONE OFFs . . .rarely revisited What if RICK JAMES BECAME THE HULK Some were frivolous like that People wanted to see some things like . . What if the Avengers were made in 10000 BC or some such (legit seen someone say that) They have a bunch of options and opportunities. I was seeing where someone said BIRDIE was created because they THOUGHT they could not use Pheonix (which was 2 yrs ago when they were making them) Spoiler I really did not like that becoming a watcher was like charging a Green Lantern ring Say the oath . . . you get the power . . . seriously WTF? That was too convenient. Too Op . . . .Just cringy to me Then the Watchers have no power in the StrangeUniverse???? Ultron's Infinity stones should not have worked outside of his universe according to the TVA Rocket River
I expected what-if to redo some classics from print like the zombehs and throw a bone for xmen, surfer, etc.. fans but this new experimental phase has been poorly thought out and cringey. Maybe I'll pretend to love it, then Disney dumps half a billion based on these soulless characters into a delusional movie no one wanted or asked for, then watch the trainwreck for entertainment. Spoiler: Last ep Those watchers prob don't interfere because they'll likely **** up more than fix. Uatu stopped gaf and interfered with everything. They live in the 5th dimension with 5D gigabrains but whatever. Once you're deputized as a watcher, you can do and be whatever u want as long as you work it with Feeling!! These writers should be put on a Do Not Hire list or something.
I would watch Rick James as Hulk. Climax has to be when Rick gets angry, he turns into hulk and stomp his dirty boots on Eddie Murphy's white couch. The thing writes itself.
