The way I see it, Fox wouldn't be the only addition necessary to propel this team into a true contender.

I do believe that you can win with Sengun, Jabari, Brooks and Amen as your forward / center group.

But the guard play has been terrible, you have to get an efficient, volume scoring threat from one of those guard spots - Fox would fit that description.
But you still have to upgrade the other guard spot too .... that player doesn't need to be a star type, just one that fills his role at a high level. Kinda like PatBev complimented Harden ....

Trey Murphy, Luke Kennard, Gary Bird, Keon Ellis .....

I would also point out that via this trade , you could then send FVV to Chicago for Lavine

That would be a mistake. Ime is a defensive coach you give him a backcourt of Lavine and Fox? We will also have to get rid of everyone like the Wolves did with Kat.

We can only afford 1 max guy if we plan to keep the core.

I hear you , but I think FVV & Swipa would be a worse pairing.

If you get FRP with Lavine, you can move the contract for someone else later on (Booker?)

Youre asking me did I check his stats? Did you? He doesnt shoot the three well at all and he takes a lot of them. He is only saved by his close shots. We are already one of the worst three point shooting teams in the league and he barely plays defense. Imagine him next to jalen lol NO THANKS I get you guys are desperate for a star but no thanks. wait for ant to ask a out.

Fox with Jalen would be a track meet. I think it would open up jalen’s game a little more. But Jalen just has to start lifting weights. Because he will get beat up in the playoffs. Fox has a mid range shot. Jalen has to get to the line more. But I don’t think he is ready to take a lot of those “ in the paint” fouls yet.

Fox should be the “star” the Rockets pass on. ;) You are committing to being the Kings 2.0.

I traded Harden, tanked, rebuilt it back up just to trade for De’Aaron Fox?
So like the Westbrook package + 2 more prospects?

No, I don’t have any good answers for you. Don’t ask. :D

I get it, we lost 2 in a row, PANIC!, tough schedule ahead, but also arguably ahead of schedule, we’re tired of Fred & Jalen and (depending on your view) we don’t have that guy so … go get Fox!??

Fox seems like the instant gratification “I want it now!” move. “C’mon DO SOMETHING!” move. And Fox is the “best available” right now.

    Fox, Jimmy, Ingram, LaVine…

And I get to pay him $57M!

This Phoenix thing looks like it’s bound to implode within the next 3 years, if not sooner.

You know what, I’m starting to talk myself into a short term marriage with Durant. :D
    NOT FOR THE FARM!
Yeah, I know some of you want & are waiting on Booker.

Yeah, he’s 36. $51M this year, $54M next year, that’s it (all he’s under contract for).
Calf & ankle injuries this year. Otherwise, still KD.
But hasn’t won outside of GS. Brooklyn, disaster. Suns, disaster.

FVV or Green/ Cam or Reed/2 firsts/filler is fair for Fox and Huerter.

    Sengun/Adams
    Smith/Eason
    Brooks/Amen
    Green/Huerter
    Fox/Holiday/Amen

Add Reed or Cam for the future. Fox is s top 16 player. Get him.

Jalen has to first get those calls and that won’t happen til the NBA signs off on it… watching SGA forearm shiver players off him and then drive for the foul call is maddening, yet Jalen drives and gets hipchecked in the air and no whistle

You only trade for KD if you keep the one younger player who works with him in the offseason (JG) and let that help mentor / increase (JG) skillset

The year he was hurt was the only year we made it past the first round with him. If he didn’t undergo surgery without telling the team, we’d have traded his deadweight 23mil contract for Vince Carter and gotten over the Lakers.

TMac was one of my favourite players. He’s also a massive career loser. Dude even backed the Lakers while he was still on the Rockets.

"you didnt check his stats" this is an empty reply. I got you. you have nothing to refute what I said. he barely plays defense and chucks 3 pointers and cant make them REFUTE THAT. NO? YOU GOT NOTHING HUNH? You guys love to dream but in reality the green and foxx bullshit never makes sense they cant shoot. you need to be able to shoot to win in the NBA. No hate involved. Its just reality its why he never made it out of the first round and can barely make the play in. live in the dreamworld all you want we would get nowhere with him.

All this talk about waiting for PHX to implode. What if they don't? What if they get KD back, make another trade, and are legit contenders in the West? To me it's equally likely they don't implode, waiting to consolidate assets that we have would be a mistake IMO

When was it ever truly his fault that we lost in the playoffs? Never, don't even say that Utah series, I'm not buying it. The Dallas series refs fuc.ked us over n the league admitted it.

Fox is treating this like Giannis, that he threatens the organization indirectly in interviews that he might opt out.....

I don't think that is a great way either but he surely earned himself the right to be vocal on that end, just puts more pressure on the team to make deals or fire coaches.

The difference being Fox is 2 tiers below Giannis and not an MVP.

Obviously the Kings are a franchise that easily folds.

You are the one with an empty reply lmao. Refute that he cant shoot 3? Bruh he just shot 42% from 3 his last game. He is a career 33% from 3. You are the one dreaming and delusional here, you keep saying he is 1-10 from 3 when thats just not true.

You keep saying he chucks shots when the facts show his TS% is high. This is like you insisting Steph Curry is a bad 3 pt shooter.

How you argue with someone who ignores reality. Thats why I told you check his stats what you are saying are just delusional rants by somebody who doesnt have a clue. Keep insisting Fox cant make 3s and cant score. What else you gonna say? World is flat? Water is dry? Fire is cold and ice is hot? You dont have a clue just spout whatever BS you can think off without even checking first if what you say is true or not.

    You do you.
