I hope it will be at the deadline, but it'll probably be in the off-season.

We need to move on from Jalen in the offseason. If Fred will sign a team-friendly deal I like him as a 6th man. We need two new backcourt starters. I’m confident everyone else will continue to improve.

This team is like a better Spurs. We could stay the course and make the playoffs easily but....for what? So we can see for 5-7 games what we saw vs the Thunder? Same thing the Spurs are going through. Can just try hard and make the play in but only Wemby isn't getting it done. That team doesn't have a single talent outside of Vic. They need to tank and get one other star swing.

Our team is backwards. We got the best talent at the end of our rebuild. Not at the beginning. So are we really going to watch FVV/Jalen pick and rolls with Sengun and crossing our fingers that Jabari, Reed or Amen get enough touches every once in a while? Seems like it. And if that's the case then we are likely going to lose more games next year than this year. Jalen has plateaued. Sengun is a mixed bag. Neither has a game breaking ability. So we're going to have better talents reduced to ball watching because we are trying to win 50 games.

I'm not sure what the plan is at this point. All I know is that we are going nowhere with this FVV-Jalen-Sengun pick and roll spam offense. FVV and Jalen need to go. Sengun needs to show some massive progress between now and next trade deadline. Jabari needs way way way more touches. Amen needs more time running the team. Reed needs more time period. Cam as well. Tari needs to heal up and we need to know if he's going to be dependable down the road.

Until Ime gets tired of playing the brick bros.

Fred is the teacher’s pet and ain’t going anywhere.

Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if they double down and bring Fred back on another short deal. And then quadruple down and keep the old guy while trading the inconsistent consistent young guy.

...you know the saddest thing about the Heat game? Tyler Hero has been a terrible defender for most of his career but Houston's offense has been so inept that they couldn't take advantage of that so Hero got to do what he does best(score) which helped them beat us with no consequence to the things that hurt him against most competent offensive teams.

This is why we need to dump Fred and/or Jalen ASAP. I like the vibes on the team and understand the importance of Fred's leadership to this young squad but Fred's offense is really starting to fall off a cliff and his defense has been slipping....and Jalen's too damn inconsistent to be relied upon. I think the time is soon - this offseason. At some point - newer, younger leaders need to emerge on this roster - we can't rely on Fred forever. I say let's see how we fare in the playoffs with Fred, get everyone experience, and next year we need a pretty big shakeup to our guards....and I would be up for FVV staying here in a reduced role for significantly less money and maybe the option to join the coaching staff when he retires.....but we gotta get him out of our starting lineup or playing less minutes and someone needs to force Jalen to slow down so he can shoot more reliably.

    This poster gets it !!

We'd bring in Durant and stick him in the corner just to provide Sengun spacing.

All I know is if we're making a trade for Fox, we might as well grab Monk and another shooter for our bench.

We were a low 20 win team during Silas era. Last year, after FVV and Dillon, we jumped to a 41 win team (.500). Fast forward to this year, team is currently at 21 wins (.656) record. #3 in the west, #6 in the NBA overall.

It may feel bad right now, but as fans, take a step back, and breath a bit. 40% way into the season, team is on solid footing. Better than what most predicted at the start of season.

FVV has raised the floor of the team. Swings on other players may raise the ceiling, but could also risk the floor collapsing.

Kings was good couple years back then slipped. Minny was great last year, but this year no longer as dominant. Nuggets still good, but not as good as their championship year.

I get it, the ceiling of the team is starting to show, decisions eventually have to be made.

It's also very easy to slip when a team pivots. Rockets has a couple big swings they could make, but once made, team will be locked.

Relax, and enjoy the New Years

It looks like we should have signed Austin Reaves to that offer sheet.

People may not think it but Amen body slamming Herro probably went a *long* way to earning Ime's trust. That's the type of stuff he likes.

How do you explain these numbers?

If Jalen were limited by a "center-centric offense", why does the team suck when Alpi sits and Jalen has the court all to himself without Alpi? And why is the team +19.4 when Jalen sits and the mean center plays?

    What are you talking about?
It's not like Alpy either just stands there holding it, or pump fakes for 10s of the shot clock.

Oh wait, no, it is like that.
