Just finished watching the first season of Black Doves and it's pretty good. If you like spy dramas this is for you. I'd give it a 8.5 / 10.
Just finished Shrinking season 2. This show is on the level of Ted Lasso…maybe better. And yes, I get it’s hard not to see Roy Kent but Brett Goldstein is great here. I’ve been a Jason Segel fan for a long time and he knocks it out of the park. Frankly, everyone involved does. It maybe not for the extreme “anti-woke” who are afraid of anything that might make them feel things because they’re so incredibly masculine and not at all the softest of marshmallowey fluffs, but even they should watch.
Squid Game season 2 and we enjoyed it. It's even better with a nip...errr grip of Jose Cuervo on the rocks.
This was my and my wife's favorite binge this year. My wife said she liked it because she could laugh right after she cried.
lol, I read that as "Disclaimer it is a British..." and then scrolled up for a bit to see what series you were talking about
Simultaneously watching ER and The Pitt. It’s not bad. I don’t like the set, though. Too much white. Lioness season 1 was great. Started season 2, not as intriguing. After a couple episodes I really started liking The Agency.
In 2003 I saw about 5 specialists in Baylor Medical Center trying to figure out my stomach issues. A year of tests and $ spent. They were leaning towards a rare version of Crohns or maybe autoimmune... I watched one episode of House and went, holy crap I chew 3-4 packs of gum a day since I quit smoking, too. Walked into my doc office and said, could I be allergic to artificial sweeteners? And that was it. Thanks House. Shoulda gone to you first.
The Agency Silo S2 Severance S2 Mythic Quest S4 Brooklyn Nine Nine (late to the party) The Agency S2 Night Agent S2 All great shows in their own right.
Just finished Lessons in Chemistry. It's only 8 episodes so it was easy to knock out in one snowy lazy weekend. I thought it was going to be a bit more of a comedy, but I laughed a couple of times per episode. It was a lot heavier than I originally wanted but it was well made I thought. As someone said earlier about shrinking, it's odd to see Roy Kent as a different character. In Lessons in chemistry, it's odd to See Stuart the owner of the comic bookstore in Big Bang Theory as the main characters producer. PS Brie Larson needs to put on a couple of pounds, she looks unhealthy thin. but she did a great job as the lead in the show.
Just finished the first season of Bookies................pretty darn good, good for a lazy Saturday binge.
