Maybe we can lure him. Honestly would write him a blank cheque, doesn't even count against the cap. Take $10m per year, move him into a mansion with Sengun/Green/Amen and a a basketball court.

He's very proudly half filipino, played for the national team. Maybe Jalen can work that filipino half being half filipino himself lol.

Even if Amen is not untouchable, I personally think a prime Marion can be little more valuable than DeAaron Fox, depending on team need.

I can also see not wanting to wait long for a "Shawn Marion" to develop, over getting an available proven All Star scoring talent. But a player like Draymond Green is prime example of complimentary player better for his team than most big stats All Stars.

Amen got cooked on the court so he threw a tantrum. He's one of my favorite players, but that's just the truth.

It was childish and stupid. He'll probably miss games over him being mad about getting cooked.

Except he wasn't defending Herro for 20 of those points. And of those 7 he was the defender for, one was Sengun reaching in, one was from a questionable call on Amen, 3 were from a screen opening Herro up.

Point is, Herro cooked the Rockets, Amen did nothing.... except throw a tantrum that ensured the Heat won the game and that Amen will get suspended.

That kind of behavior SHOULD be embarrassing.... and if it was some nobody on another team doing it to Harden back when he was here during a game where the nobody did nothing and Harden cooked their team, those cheering Amen's foolishness would have a different take.

LOL where did you get that? No one on this team should be untouchable.

Ryan Hollins got it right. Amen (and others) were obviously super frustrated because of the Wolves meltdown and then ******** the bed against the Heat. I think it has little to do with Herro specifically.

The reason why Herro got to take a trip through the air is because he decided to get in the face of, and talk **** to, one of those extremely frustrated players. And the player he did it to happened to be much bigger and stronger.

You can't do that and expect everything to be A-OK. That's not how life works. It reminds me of the Jokic-Morris incident a little while ago, where Morris took a cheap shot against a much bigger, stronger person, and then turned his back and started walking away. Wtf did he think would happen? He got laid out. Same thing would happen to any of us here if we took a cheap shot at some massive dude at a bar then nonchalantly walked away. Or if any of us saw someone physically bigger and stronger, who was extremely pissed off about something, and we decided to get in his face and start talking ****. We would go to Suplex City like Herro did.

Amen probably regrets that it happened, but I don't think he should feel bad about it.

If not this guy, how about the guy that worked with Michael Finley?

He should feel bad because he played bad and let Herro and the shorthanded Heat cook them.

He should feel dumb because he allowed his poor play and getting cooked by Hero and the shorthanded Heat cause him to throw a childish tantrum which ensured the Heat won and that he gets suspended.

After watching this angle more closely I'm not really upset with the reaction by Amen.

At the 4 second mark Herro whips around to push Amen and talk crap and Amen grabs his jersey to prevent from being pushed down (funny enough, it nearly lifts Herro off his feet). Herro continues charging him while holding his wrists and Amen just tosses him off of him.

It wasn't just the talking. Amen deals with that all the time. If Herro never put his hands on Amen and pushed him, he never would have been tossed away.

Yea, it really wasn't a "body slam". NBA has gotten real chippy lately, because of an NBA directive to let them play. In typical hypocritical fashion they will throw the book at Amen for tossing a guy that was wrestling with him and talking s**t to a much stronger player. I'm guessing at least 3 games.

The game was already over. Heat already had it. Rockets were dead men walking.

And yeah, like I said, he was obviously frustrated. He had a bad game. Rockets were worthless in the 4th for the second game in a row. But Amen was managing himself just fine until Herro got in his face. If that hadn't happened, the Tyler Toss wouldn't have happened.

I'm sure Amen feels bad about his poor play. And that is a good thing.

Amen is going to be a top 10 player in this league and even if he isn't, he'll be one of those guys every single team trying to win wants.

Fox is lower tier all star and has proven to be a clutch performer and is currently better than Amen so it's not exactly an insult to Amen that you say that, but I completely disagree. I wouldn't trade Amen for anyone not top top tier amd even then you're probably looking at a SGA for Paul George experience.

Praying he doesn't get 4 games - I'm going to be mighty annoyed if he's suspended for the game in Washington that I'll be in attendance for.

Amen had a bad game. He has played in about 95 NBA games. What a stupid take! 2 years ago anybody in the league could have had Fox for a box of Pop-tarts. Kings would jump all over that trade and toss in a few frp's to boot.

Saying that someone is fine until something happens that happens literally every time the ball is about to be brought in bounds from half court is basically saying he's not fine.

A completely normal interaction was enough for an immature, overly emotional, poorly coached, young player to do something stupid and destroy any chance of coming back AND get themselves suspended.

And what did he accomplish by acting stupid? Herro and his teammates were probably laughing at him for quite a long time afterwards.

    It's simply unacceptable.

Maybe Hakeem need to show up and give the kids a Quran.

The Rockets would not. Amen is in his second year and is an All NBA Defender already. Has better athleticism than Fox and better control around the rim.

Fox has had like....one All Star Game to his belt in 8 seasons. Hasn't led a team anywhere. Amen is about as untouchable as it gets.

I'm not saying that Amen is awful. But it's crazy the people on this board who think he's untouchable. Jabari, who is 3 months younger than Amen, is a much better shooter who can defend 1 through 5. I would put Amen behind Tari too if he was healthy.

Amen is light years ahead of Jabari as a defender.

Jabari in no way shape or form can defend 1-5. I mean he can, not well though.
