DNP coaches decision isn't doing a thing to help Reed or the Rockets either one. It's baffling to me why he hasn't been sent there yet.

Is it Ime's decision or Stone's, to send Reed down?

This is a wasted year no matter how you look at it. If he's just DNP, he sits on the bench and doesn't get better. If he's on the Vipers, he's playing against weak competition which doesn't really help you for the big team. Gotta look at him like a project unfortunately.

Does anyone have inside knowledge on why Reed hasn’t been sent to the G-League? I know Ime wants FVV to break the minutes record but it makes no sense to have Reed just watching from the bench. If you’re not going to play him then send him to the G.

If they send him down and he sucks he will have 0 trade value. Right now he’s still worth something as a top 3 pick with “potential” according to half this community. You can sell imaginary potential, you can’t sell triple 0 stat lines in g league.

Brickpard takes so little threes he wont make those 6.

Keep telling everyone Brickpard has great shot mechanics as he keeps bricking every shot.

Even Ime knows Brickpard sucks hwo many mins did he get today?

Apparently I'm not the only one tired of 6 mins of 0/0/0.

Coach is killing this kid, team, FVV and his longevity as the coach by not playing Reed. Reed is going to look rough at first but will catch on. FVV only has so many NBA minutes in him (playing 40+/per night in the early part of the season is not a wise way to use them). We are starting to miss opportunities because of fatigue. I believe it’s a matter of time before he is injured.
Reed NEEDS playing time to get better. Coach can provide a productive and healthy place for this at the end of first or start of the second quarter. Reed will get on the job training and real time touting. This also cuts back FVV playing time making his time more meaningful saving / pacing himself to finish games.

Lol fine, I'll keep laughing at you as long as you keep embarrassing yourself.

The part about rhetoric you might be too dumb to comprehend is that the things you say have to be valid, at least on some level, to be effective.

I also know that you don't know ball enough to know what good shooting mechanics look like.... and you don't know statistics enough to understand small samples vs large samples. So perhaps you can't help but embarrass yourself due to your own shortcomings, but you should strive for more.

BTW, how'd your boy do last night? Could that be why you're lashing out now?

Jalen Green scored 30 points in the 3rd game of his rookie season and you labeled him
    a bust after two weeks.

But you will give Sheppard years to prove himself, won't you?

Bryce Drew had good mechanics....his dad was a basketball coach. Still ended up a bust.

Lying won't help you kiddo. I didn't call Jalen a bust his first season at any point despite the fact that he was absolutely terrible at everything.

Now nearly 4 years later? Different story.

Im usually throwing cold water on theories like this but right now it’s about the only thing that makes sense. Coaches see him in practice vs the G-League guys at the end of the bench and maybe they think he’ll also struggle down there. If you struggle in the G-league it really kills your career.

See Anthony Bennett who was exposed almost more not because he struggled in the NBA but because when he was sent down and put in different situations he struggled there as well. The league wrote him off fast and furiously.

Which begs the question if the Rockets draft people even bothered to properly work him out before the draft. It’s so painfully obvious he just too damn small and plays small vs NBA level athletes. If they can get anything of value or he can have value in a trade the sooner the better but more than likely other NBA teams see what we see too and that box score doesn’t lie either. You wait too much longer and he’ll have no value in trades.

With concerns about Tari’s health and Reed busting this goes to show you that there’s no such thing as having too many draft picks. Everyone was sooo worried about having too many young players. Right now we are back to playing Tate real minutes. The Rockets gotta keep going back for the draft well and not get short sighted here thinking they are more stacked with young talent than they really are.

Or there is a handshake deal somewhere and we are waiting on a deal or date to happen. No one trades for broken/injured toys.

Best NBA, college, high school basketball players by age 14-40

Age 21: Dyson Daniels, Atlanta Hawks
This was one of the ages where it was far from clear who the answer should be. Six months ago, it would not have been Daniels, after he played sparingly across his first two seasons in the NBA with the Pelicans after being the sixth overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft. But Daniels was traded to Atlanta in the Dejounte Murray deal this summer and has since exploded into one of the league's elite perimeter defenders, leading the NBA in steals per game (3.1) and establishing himself as part of Atlanta's core.

    Runner-up: Amen Thompson, Houston Rockets

    Age 20: Victor Wembanyama, Spurs
There were some tough choices on this list but this wasn't one of them. Wembanyama, with his singular combination of size, speed and skill, is arguably the most unique prospect in the history of the sport and is off to a great start over his first year-plus in the NBA, including being a unanimous pick for Rookie of the Year last season. If Wembanyama stays healthy, the Hall of Fame awaits.

    Runner-up: Dereck Lively II, Mavericks

    Age 19: VJ Edgecombe, Baylor
Between the combination of a weak 2024 NBA draft class that has collectively gotten off to a slow start, and the depth of the 2025 class, we ultimately opted for Edgecombe, ESPN's fourth-ranked 2025 prospect and top-ranked 19-year-old. Edgecombe impressed with the Bahamian National Team this summer over players taken in the 2024 draft.

    Runner-up: Reed Sheppard, Houston Rockets
