A lot of late game decision making collectively by this group doesn’t make much sense. Sengun, Fred, and Green jacking up late 3s. No cutting. But Udoka’s offense doesn’t allow a lot if easy baskets either. Every bucket seems so hard. Very difficult to watch
Can't blame the refs when Udoka sat there willingly letting Green shoot 6/20 whilst Sengun was far more efficient, and then not even touching it on multiple possessions down the stretch with the game still in the balance. It's no surprise Miami wrestled back momentum after being down double digits in the midst of Jalen's hero ball run. This has got to be at least the 4th loss squarely on Udoka's atrocious in-game coaching so far this season. And I know it isn't all on Udoka, he clearly has a mandate to showcase Green. Which all boils back to that disgusting extension given to him in the off-season. F*ck Tilman and f*ck Green.
Too many soft players on this team. Can't go to Alpi down the stretch against tough defenders his hands are way too weak. Can't go thru Fred, he's too small. Jalen doesn't know how to draw fouls down the stretch. Rockets need to go get a closer. Amen is the only untouchable player on this team.
Herro was high-stepping big time for someone who just got rekt in front of 20K people. He and Duncan Robinson are definitely some punchable dudes.
Don't worry, he won't. He'll give the bum another extension before he tries to better the team by getting rid of him. Probably should've been fired after the attempted Dipo extension. Or KPJs. Haha.
1. FVV waited a split second too late to call the timeout. 2. He was ejected because he bumped into the ref, not because of anything he said. 3. Horrible coaching to not put Cam in when the team was struggling to score. They're going to struggle in the playoffs if they keep this starting lineup.
Just my opinion. Walking up to a guy and slapping him shows planning. You could argue Amen just got caught up in the moment. I think he’s going to get suspended though.
