Things work and stop working a lot with suprnova. I would not use this for downloading copyrighted material since it is so easy for someone to figure out who downloaded what while you are downloading/uploading.

There is a lot of legit video trailers and game demos and patches on filerush.com

I tried using movielink to download an episode of the Howard Stern show and gave up after one. The download rate is ridiculously slow.

Anybody know how to use BT in a LAN? I don't have any permission to change the settings on the router.

Is it possible to download something with spyware/adware/malware within it? I downloaded the movie Cellular and now when I log off my XP account and log back on several hours later there are like 20 pop-ups each time? I use Firefox and never IE. Does the client (BitComet) have spyware/adware/malware? I did a Spybot and Adware scan so hopefully that will take care of it but I don't want it to happen again. I have logged off and when I get back home I'll repost if I have more pop-ups.

OK, that's it I don't have a DVD-Player or burner. Do I need that to view these types of files?

I don't know what type of movie you downloaded (dvd-rip, camera, etc)

The other thing you could do is get isobuster... download.com... and then you can view and extract the files inside the .bin file. Extract them a directory and see the movie that way... but like I said it depends on the type of movie you downloaded

Because a DVD-RIP is 4 gigs and needs to go on a DVD-R CD, while a CAM video is less than a gig and can normally fit on a CD-R

.Bin .Cue and .Iso are files that you would usually need to burn onto a dvd or CD in order to play.

If you scroll up a bit, LongTimeFan mentions some stuff about extracting the .bin file, that I'm not that familiar with.

Thanks....I should have looked up in this thread. I am going to try the iso thing.

I am guessing I should include the cd1 BIN files and the cue file on disk 1.

I will just brun disk one and see what happens. thanks for the info.

Oh well the file I downloaded was less than a gig. I'm sorry, I'm heading out to buy a DVD-R. Welcome to the 21st century Lil Pun! :D
