At least he didn't wind up with Memphis as rumored. Plus the Lakers have to extend him after this season(assuming he opts out which he almost certainly will). And he turns 32 in May.

I don’t get why the nets did this without getting back a first, what’s the point.

I think LeBron wanted D’lo outta there in a bad way. This helps lakers perimeter defense and three ball. Not a bad trade but not much of a needle mover.

Helping out the Lakers I see…yeah D-Lo was gone as soon as we saw that initial reaction by Redick and then the latest one by AD.

This trade was a small gift by the Nets to the Lakers perhaps to increase the velocity of their tank.

From the Lakers side, this makes them a little better and increases their chances of finishing #6 or above.

The Nets are going to buy out D-Lo...I think he would be a great pickup for us with our backup point guard situation...we need to send Reed down to the G-League for development

Don't think the Nets will keep D Lo. He is still a much better starting PG then Ben Simmons and would hurt their tanking plans. They traded away Schroder for that exact reason.

Seems like a better offer unless they think they can flip him to another team.

Rooting against them, they were so annoying on offense with Russell on the court. He set the offense up well, got Davis the ball, and would hit important shots. Reaves is better than Russell, and he gets a crazy whistle. You can't touch him or get in his way. I haven't watched Finney-Smith since he was in Dallas. If he is as good as advertised on defense and still hits open shots, he would be a big help to the Lakers. They need Reaves to be a version of Harden/Ginobili for this trade to really hit.

DLo alone is not that good......lol.....but he did play the best the one year with Brooklyn but they had Jarrett Allen and Dinwiddie.
