I'm thinking if I should make the first move on my coworker. She somehow got my number, then she cancels her dudes number when she talks to me.

Thinking about a bunch of very large expenses I have to tackle in the next year.

    Kitchen appliance overhaul - 8k
Furnace and AC replacement - 12k
New garage door - ??? haven't got estimates yet
New car - whatever it's financed

Better buy that **** quick before any tariffs drive prices up. Also, look at energy star rebates. In the next two days.

I spent the afternoon learning about and pricing things that are energy star qualified for a 30% tax rebate. To buy in the next two days.

Where's a better thread for this conversation? Make it so, pronto.

eta, nevermind, I looked it up: https://www.energystar.gov/about/federal-tax-credits

Cliff Claven: "What are 3 federal tax credits that have nothing to do with my kitchen?"

You will hate yourself for doing it, everyone else will love you for doing it.

Real talk, @AroundTheWorld, unless you're planning on living on it or running a charter business with it, there is no reason to own a boat. Talk to your various local marina peoples and you should be able to rent one for the day/week as needed to entertain people or just go joyriding (jet skis are slightly, slightly less maintenance, but same principle applies). This is how I do it on the lakes up here...only downside is I can't wake up in the morning and say "I want to be on the water in 30 minutes", but that's what kayaks are for.

I was kidding. I don't want to buy a boat. Looked at freedom boat club, but I'll just hire one with a skipper the few times I want to go.

They say the two best moments in the life of a boat owner are when you buy it...and when you sell it.
