Chill...we have one of the best coaches in the league. If we had ANT instead of Jalen on our team it will be a different story...we don't have a closer on our team when the game is close...ANT is that player for the T-Wolves. We're one player away from being true contender

    "schedule loss" not scheduled.

4 games in 6 nights, on a b2b, it was obvious the guys lost their legs imo.

the term schedule loss is a thing for a reason.

nothing is "scheduled" and it was winnable.

you can blame Ime, you can blame the missed fts, you can blame jalen, you can blame a lot of things. we lost by 1pt.

even if ime played it "perfectly" at the end, we still coulda missed and loss.

We were up 16 and lost by 1.

thats why we lost. that stretch of bad defense, bad rebounding and missed shots. likely because of tired legs.

They are both incompetent in some areas and competent in others.

Ime is a very good defensive coach.... but he's completely lost when it comes to running rotations.

Jalen is a highly athletic player... but he's completely lost when it comes to basketball.

They both have incredible upside if they manage to shore up the things they are really bad at

If we play .500 ball there’s of the season we’re at 50 wins. Unless we have an epic collapse we’ll be ok

We need another defensive big. Sengun and Jabari were getting wrecked by Reid and Randle

He could be if he learned how to run rotations so that he wasn't costing his team games like he did last night.

The game wouldn't have been close without his incompetence

I think people may overrate our offensive potential without FVV, or more specifically the ability to just play at a super fast pace and maintain elite defense.

Hey, so... would luring Mike Brown away from post-dismissal idleness to sit next to Ime for the rest of the season, move the needle from an offensive set standpoint? Or are we just talking about needing a guy able to get his shot anytime, anyplace?

sorry for the nitpick but the term “scheduled loss” is used all of the time in NBA circles, fan communities and on the internet. Both terms are used. They are interchangeable and mean the same thing.

just simply google it and you will see all kinds of Reddit posts and articles using that term along with the one you mentioned

When you are down 2, they refuse to double and Sengun is tired, going to Green or Amen to attack the rim makes way more sense. A pick and roll to force the issue instead of an iso, which is not Sengun’s strong suit either, should be a more preferable option anyway. Yeah Ime is as much to blame as that weak ass defense.

    Mike Brown's specialty is defense.

    Cam Whitmore 4 pts 3 rebs 1ast 1/5 fg 0/3 3 pt 2/2ft 11 minutes

Alperen Sengun 38 pts 16/25 6/10 fts shots was ridiculous, the 3 missed Free Throws in the 4th Quarter.

I remember watching Hakeem Olajuwon never being the Last Shot Guy. That was his shooters job.
Yes throw it to Hakeem Olajuwon, he backs down finds a Shooter, Vernon Maxwell, Sam Cassell, Kenny Smith, Robert Horry, Mario Elie kiss of Death take the 3 point shot.

Last Second Shot Clyde Drexler you have the ball drive in missed layups, Tip in a Game Winner by Hakeem Olajuwon. 1995 vs Magic

Alperen Sengun only bailout is Fred VanVleet is really bad.

Ime mentioned one play that really burns me: Reid collecting his own miss from a corner 3 and putting it back in with 2:00 left. Jabari was the defender and just stood there in the corner, watching the shot, as Reid went by him to get that ball. That should never happen.

tell him, ant didn't mount the comeback. Naz Reid, Alexander-Walker, and Julius Randle did.

I'm not sure if you realize that Cam played poorly and that Sengun played well....

It's one game and they were exhausted. Their defense has been exceptional this year.

You wanted him to go at the double team and shoot over two defenders instead of passing to the open man? Come on man.
