Feel the same way: Feigen, McClain, Blinebury, Sefko, Murphy, Robertson, Duarte, Falky, Lopez, JdJO, Justice, Herskowitz et al, just feels like the end of an era with respect to print for Houston Sports.

Great run, Mr. Feigen. Appreciate the way you went about it.

Read him since back when morning newspapers were still a thing. Always felt he was a boring, cookie-cutter type reporter. But I guess compared to modern guys like Kelly Iko, regular boring guy is actually a major step up.

Learned to love the Rockets reading his articles. Back in Yao's rookie season, there was not a lot of video to go through the games if you lived in Colombia. So it was Clutch's game recaps and Feigen's articles. Then IPTV "early years" came in and streaming took off. But if there is no Feigen, I would be writing in a soccer forum and would not have spent 20 years reading clutchfans.

    Thank you!

Sad to see this news. Felt like he was one of the rare few media these days that don't put up clickbait articles and titles.

I always liked reading his articles. He definitely was a huge part of Rockets history. Well done and good luck to the man.

Well, this is a bit of sadness. I remember always reading his articles back in the day. There was a bit of "he's my team's reporter" type of vibe in his reporting when I read those articles. Above it all, he just seemed like a cool dude.

In any case, good luck with your retirement Mr. Feigen. You're part of a classier breed of journalist who always kept it about the job at hand without trying to offend the masses for clicks. Enjoy your retirement and have fun doing whatever you do.

And holy cow, I just found out Ed Fowler is/was a reverend.
