Let them want it. I encourage them. All Chargers have to do is win out. And all the Steelers have to do is beat the Ravens Vikings and Ravens were awful matchups before the season began for me.
You think they’re bad? Try listening to the talking heads up here in Dallas as they trip over each other trying not to get on Jerry Jones’ bad side by asking a legitimate question.
Or maybe he’s “repeating jargon” publicly while privately saying something else behind closed doors. I have a hard time believing that he’s actually this clueless because it’s obvious where the deficiencies are with this team. And after what went down 2020-2022, I have zero trust in management and ownership to have the competence to address any problem. The next season is shaping up to be make or break for both DeMeco and CJ.
He has to have something wrong with him that were not being told..............that is my hope, if its between his ears were in trouble. I am going to chalk this year up to a very under achieving O Line at the beginning of the year, a horrible OC who is asking his offense to do things they simply cannot execute and a year of film on him from last year. Lets get a new OC, shore up this O Line and get a running attack to take some pressure off................every Defense knows exactly what we are going to run. I have faith in 7 and this window is small until we have to pay CJ 60+ million..................I can't believe I am saying this, but this version of CJ is not worth the big contract. Success came to fast and to easily, this year will be a humbling experience and I will be curious to see how CJ reacts, does he go traveling with his friends and hit all the pod casts and major events or does he buckle down, learn a new system and work on his craft to be the best version of himself. Tom Brady used to say there is no off season if you want to be the absolute best, if CJ wants to be elite, he may need to change up how he did things last off season
Not sure how anyone can have any confidence in this team to win the Wild Card game. Doesn't matter who they play.
Who are the biggest weak links on our offensive line? I know nothing about the quality of our individual offensive linemen. I thought they were bad last year but It seems like we are worse than last year and far worse than predicted this year. Nov 2nd of last year they were ranked 15th LT: Laremy Tunsil, LG: Tytus Howard, C: Jarrett Patterson, RG: Shaq Mason, RT: George Fant Key Injuries: G Kendrick Green, C Juice Scruggs The depth is battle-tested. There have been times this year when they were missing four expected starters, and the guys they’ve settled on at this point in the year are playing well. The Texans have the talent to go man-on-man successfully in pass protection, though twists do catch them off guard. They keep their feet running on contact but don’t quite get those clear rushing lanes you’d like. Dec 2024 We were ranked 31st going into this week. Last year we used injuries as the excuse. This year it's Slowik as well. Do we have players who should be replaced as starters, moved into backup roles, or traded? Who would you replace to give us a top offensive line? What do we need to ever be a top 5 offensive line?
Just noticed there will be a lot of good Guards that are free agents this offseason. Should be an interesting time for Nick and Meco.
We have players on the line who do not execute good technique. They will not line up and power through a defense because they are not strong, power blocking linemen; instead, they rely on technique and finesse. When they as a group continuously fail in execution and technique I tend to think there is an issue with coaching. With no one on the line being able to sell a run during play-action, it also could be all the above but I do think coaching is the weakest link on the O-line.
Way to many times they whiff on a block or act like they dont know who to block.................and Schultz is a joke at blocking
This years were considered Super Bowl contenders but here we are. I Also think the Rockets are muuuuch closer. Just started watching them again after a hiatus dating back to the end of the Hakeem era.
Yeah, pre season I would have said SB contenders but it’s been apparent something was off with this team 6+ weeks ago. The Rockets are building something special. They’ve got the right coach, and other than OKC, probably the best assets in the league when you consider the upcoming picks we have.
I had to come to realization that the game is much different than back in the day. Once I embraced the more offensive style of play I was able to re embrace the game. Plus now I can access without issues up here in NY. Wasn't that easy in the late 90s
The loss was so bad that I’m already thinking about the offseason. I don’t even care about the playoffs because even if they beat Pittsburgh, they’re going to get dominated by Kansas City.
Renew those season tickets… buy merch, demand more Texans content… the Texans are really close and Cal and his family need your help.
