Both of Chubb's injuries looked worse. I know that doesn't mean much. Chubb did look great after the first one.
Well that is horrible for Dell but I also think between his and Diggs’ injuries we might have seen an alteration to our would-be draft plans in 2025. We need OL, but now we are hurting for weapons as we attempt to right CJ and while he’s still on his rookie contract. Hopefully Johnson can show in the next few weeks, but now it wouldn’t surprise me to see them consider a first round WR given the extent of his injury and the timeline of his absence.
Hope he can come back from this, but damn that's a lot. Break a leg, get shot, tear up basically everything there is in a knee, Tank's had a rough year. Hoping for the best. Dude is turning into a legend.
This injury ranks one of the most mis-matched "visual vs outcome" ratios I've ever seen. Visually, the contact appeared little-to-nothing -- but the outcome is one of the worse injuries an athlete can suffer. _____ The bright side is Slowik had our offense humming while Tank and Diggs were healthy. Oh wait....
Tank Dell is the Texans' Lance McCullers: when I see him on the field again I'll believe he's back No fault of his/their own
The more I read/hear about his injury, the worse I feel for the guy. Rehab will be damn near a year of hardass work (and I was just a whiteboy who wanted to play rec sports again, not a pro athlete), and it will REALLY SUCK. Like all of the suck, like all of the suck you can imagine it sucking, then it will suck even more. The only fun is seeing incremental progress over months at a time ("I did that much, and I'm still doin' it")
Livingston was severely diminished athletically and as a player after his return though. But I guess that is the best case scenario at this point.
I would agree, I hate to count him out but DAM, how many injuries can this kid sustain. He was turning into a special player, hope he gets back but dam, I wont be shocked if is never the same. I have no clue if they have "career ending" injury clauses, but this kid never even got his first BIG payday..............and to make matter worse (if that's possible) it was friendly fire that did it.
To me the problem was never his size. That shot he took to his knee in the end zone would have injured anyone. My skepticism is for a person that is dependent on quick twitch moves and precision route running. This kills sadly. I wish him a safe recovery and pray he gets back. But he was never a take the top off burner. It's just sad and it sucks for us but mostly I feel for him. Because football is a business and only the best make the cut.
